Okay,

So, the Tributes entered the Arena (it is located on a mountain top with huge glaciers and loads of snow!) and started grabbing supplies. (The tributes had to each answer a question before they could take any of the supplies. Correct answers got them the supplies they wanted, incorrect answers left them high and dry!)

While they were gathering supplies, snow began to fall from a nearby mountain which quickly turned into an avalanche... and it headed straight towards the cornucopia. The Tributes used their special powers/skills to avoid the avalanche… and they survived!


No one has killed anyone else yet because we have some pretty clever tributes! (And also because— in order to kill another tribute, you must first answer a question about that tribute. If you answer correctly-- that tribute dies, if you don't-- they live... And you only get ONE guess!)

So, that's where we are now.

The temperature has risen dramatically in the past few hours and all of the snow is melting… turning into a giant river...

I hope the tributes can swim :D

The person who is targeted gets to ask the question and if the person who wants to kill that person answers the question correctly, then the targeted person dies... if not, then they live :D

Oh okay... So my characters are just wandering around!

Miranda wandered around hopelessly. She hated snow.

Kate bounded over the snow, wishing she'd been fast enough to get something and also wishing she still had her red bucket.

Cashmere charged through the snow with nothing much more than a very good idea of how to make and throw snowballs, and a strong arm and leg.

Alanna waded through the snow uncomfortably; the feeling of it sliding down her shirt and pants was rather disturbing.

Meg stumbled and lost her glasses in the snow. Fortunately, she was used to this by now and found them fairly soon after. Where to now?

Miranda looked over at the girl who just fell down. Just behind her, the flood water was gaining. She made her way quickly over. "Hurry, got your glasses? Let's go." Miranda put her arm around the girl and pulled her away from the water, quickening their pace significantly.

Cashmere glanced back. Water, dammit. Let's go find a weapon, shall we? she thought to herself with a tiny smile, and sped up. She couldn't see anyone yet, but that would soon change. The arena's only so big, right?

Meg looked up at the girl flinging her arm protectively across her shoulders, helping her up and pulling her away from the water. Oh, how she hated being so slow, so clumsy. She didn't say anything, focusing more on getting out of here.

Kate looked over the snow. Two girls were being rapidly - or as rapidly as can be - pursued by water, another girl was shoveling on ignoring everyone, and another little girl with green hair was bounding over the snow just as she was. Let's go help her, why not?
Kate leaped over to the green-haired girl. Soon after she reached her Kate realized the girl was NOT human; far too graceful. "Hello." she said brightly, looking down at her.

Alanna looked up at the tall, blond, perky human girl striding along next to her. "Greetings," she replied before turning to look ahead of her again. "Might want to hurry, the water'll be here soon," she suggested, breaking into more of a run. Or rather, a jog, so the other girl could keep up. To Alanna's surprise, the girl had little trouble keeping up with her jog.

Tessa nod. She begins to understand what the other girl is trying to say. "Yeah, I'd be able to swim and hunt just as well as you." She lightly touched the girl's hand again, and moment later there was wo Ayla's again.

I think that, since you also missed the cornucopia (right?), you may have to follow eleanor's lead and just do the best you can until you can get some supplies...jaye seemed to imply that there may be another chance to get some, maybe after the flood from the melted snow recedes.

I would suggest getting away from the flood near the cornucopia and maybe trying to make some allies?

It doesn't look like this cave's been used by any in a while, but we might could find some on up the mountain- although I did see some kind of bird-man fly up there- or we could go down and swim if we have to...what do you think?"

"Thinking logically, I belive that the animals would be running away from the flood, so I believe if we head upwards, we might get food. Howeverm at the same time, that might be true for the tributes. I reckon that they could be wanting to escape the flood as well, so they're may be a blood-bath on the top of the mountain. It's a half-and-half chance." She paused and waited for the other girl to chip in her two-pence.

Ayla's brow furrowed in thought. "Well, I hate the thought of running into that creature or any others, but I believe you're right. We'll just have to be very quiet and avoid the battle...unless you're ready to fight? I don't feel ready, but I don't guess I ever will," she said with a pained expression.

"Slow down!" Kate called, though the moss-haired girl seemed to have no problem following along. Elf, must be. Kate thought to herself, trying to push herself faster. Never had she been the slow one; others had always urged her to wait up.

Meg and Miranda climbed the rocks urgently, helping each other when they fell though they hadn't even introduced themselves yet. There just seemed to be a sort of, need to help each other. Miranda felt Meg to be like her little brother, Meg saw Miranda as a useful leader.

Cashmere jumped from rock to rock, easily climbing higher to escape the water.

Brianna felt a little bad so she turned around and ran back to the girl tripping and falling on her face when she stopped.

The thought of killing an innocent turned her stomach. She wasn't sure, if like Ayla, she would ever be ready - but, she didn't have a choice now. She had to be ready.
Tessa nodded, finally, "I am as ready as I will ever be. If I get close enough to a tribute to touch or really see them, I may be able to change into them but that's a big may."

"I'm elven, Alanna." Alanna introduced herself as she ran effortlessly alongside them.

"To best completley honest, I haven't tried that. But I could even work off something that is there's or something that they have used. For example if we come along like a piece of ripped clothing, an old water canister, I can try into them." She paused "I got to admit, I find your idea intriguing. I would not mind trying that."

Ayla nodded her head enthusiastically while Tessa explained. "Well, I had been thinking more of trying to use the spear to reach one of them while they were sleeping or something, but it might be easier finding something they've left behind."

Ayla thought a moment longer. "So we need to know where the other tributes are, what they're doing, if there are other alliances...any ideas on how to get that information?" she asked Tessa.
