Alice entered the room, a bit earlier than the other students. Her eyes vacantly scanned the empty cafeteria as she placed a single apple on her tray of food and walked over to take a seat on the table closest to the window.
Atrum walked in with a skip in her step, her stormy blue irises gleaming in their silent beauty. She walked over to the line, mulling over which food choices."Hm ..." she pondered over her choices, deciding on drinking a water and eating an orange. Though she was mostly the carnivore type. She sat at a table and slowly began to peel back the layering covering the orange, her nails growing slightly to give her a better advantage.
Atrum felt a pair of eyes on her and sharply turned her contemplation from the orange to the masculine who seemingly had a problem with her. At least, that is what the narrowed eyes told her. She gave him nothing but a malicious grin and waved off-handedly to him before returning to peeling her orange.
Noctis sauntered in, well aware of the intense stare that was being executed between Atrum and the male across the cafeteria. He slid into the seat next to Atrum, glancing at her orange with distaste."As if eating humanoid food was not disgusting enough ..." he murmured with eyes that gleamed in their caustic acclaims."... now you retort to fruits and vegetables?" He shook his head, as if Atrum was hard to understand. He reached over and grabbed her water bottle, obligating himself to take a sip of it.
Kaeryn frowned. "How many are there here?" he muttered to himself.Lyn just shrugged, looking outside.
Atrum grimaced at Noctis, reluctantly allowing him to practically steal her food. It was not rare for daemons to scavenge off of one another. However, she would usually put up a fight to get it back. Noctis was an exception though."Did you expect this stupid school to have a slab of raw meat on the menu? Or maybe a bottle of souls?" She teased, her luminaries drifting away from the male who had the audacity to narrow his eyes at her."... perhaps we should have killed those love makers in the woods, no? Their meat would have been as tender as the kisses they were sharing." She murmured, snickering at her own joke.
Kaeryn frowned. His hearing was extremely good at he heard what she said. He stood up but was stopped by Lyn."Don't forget where we are." Lyn hissed. "And we have a mission to accomplish. You're not here to hunt."
Noctis closed his eyes as he slid the water battle back to Atrum's rightful side, a small smirk tugging at the corners of his pale lips."... you are one cruel mistress, Atrum." He murmured, shaking his head gently. Albeit, he was amused nevertheless.
Kaeryn bit his lip. He wanted to hunt them, but he couldn't risk the mission. Plus, he didn't know anything about those two, nor the third one who just came in.
Adrian snarled softly, still mad at the comment and bought a rare hamburger and a diet coke, sitting doWn at at table in the back
Atrum ignored the fools, keeping her undivided attention on Noctis and his comments and opinions."Tell me something I don't know." She murmured, rolling her eyes playfully. She peeled off a piece of orange, tasting it."It's not bad, want some?" She asked, offering him a piece.
Lyn looked at Adrian and frowned."Someone familiar, Ryn?" Kaeryn asked, glancing at Lyn then at the other demon. Lyn nodded.
Noctis grimaced, eyeing the godforsaken fruit Atrum presented to him. He gingerly accepted the piece and tentatively placed it in his mouth, his taste buds erupting in screams of agony as soon as it touched his tongue. He immediately spit the piece out of his mouth, grimacing in dissatisfaction."I thought you said it wasn't bad." He contradicted, his tongue sticking out from within his mouth, like doing so would get rid of the taste.
"Hello." Lyn said. Kaeryn sighed, he still didn't trust any of the demons except Lyn and his brother, even if Lyn seem to know this one.
He muttered a small spell under his breath and it set the girl's booksack on fire. He snorted and walked out of the cafeteria
Atrum glanced at the agitated individual who left -thank Etro. She sighed, returning his contemplation to Noctis."I did ... everyone has different tastes." She informed him, standing up and throwing the orange away. Upon getting back to the table, she sighed quietly."... where to next?" She asked nonchalantly.
