I like Rose, I love Dimitri. But I think Rose would have been much better with Adrian. And they would have made cute babies

I would have been so HAPPY!!! I wanted Rose to end up with Adrian.

Omg. I would've been pisseddd! Rose and Dimitri are obviously perfect together! I love Adrian and I feel bad for him but he was just not for Rose. So yeah... just no.

Honestly, I love the fact that they ended up together, but I also felt for Adrian. In the beginning I loved Dimitri and I did`t even want o consider another option... but then, Adrian came into the picture and I was really torn because I loved him and I wanted him to be happy.
I think that, if she ended up with Adrian, I could have been happy-as long as Dimitri was killed or something. I know, I would have cried a lot if Dimitri died, but it would have been much better than Rose and Adrian together while Dimitri suffered alone. That is an unacceptable scenario.

Wouldve been when i screamed and ranted after dimka died in the third book. They just had to be together, I love Adrian, but hes meant to work things out with Sydney or maybe even someone else. Rose and DImka will always be my favorite couple

I wish Rose was with Adrian! I don't know, Dimitri never really struck me as an extremely likeable character...But Adrian did :D

i think i would have chucked the book at the wall and through a huge fit. adrian is to be with sydney in bloodlines and if rose ended with adrian well there would have been no bloodlines.And i LOVE rose and dimitri togther Dimika and Roza it just makes perfect sense

I cried when Dimitri became Strigoi, thinking they'd never be together. I could only imagine how I'd react if Rose and Dimitri never ended up together. It's pretty clear they'd end up together because their love was so strong and it was pretty clear through their connect. You can't deny their love. Romitri/Romka for life. Also, I love Adrian don't get me wrong, especially in Bloodlines, but I don't think that they would have worked, as many of you above have mentioned.

Rose and Dimitri are soulmates but if they didn't get together then adrain would of got his happily ever after :)

I imagine that Rose would have stayed with Adrian for a while. Like she said, she really did love him in her own way. They were really great together, they were. And she made perfect sense when she told him (view spoiler)["That's the difference between you and me. I don't see myself as a victim. I've always fought for the people I've loved. Always." (hide spoiler)] or something like that. Adrian was sweet, amazing, and selfless at times for Rose but, honestly, Rose had legitimate reasons for not seeing them together long term, apart from her overpowering love for Dimitri. Adrian had problems, sure (who doesn't?), but it was more than that. Rose wasn't the type of girl to live under the pressure that she had to be someone else's strength at all times. She needed someone who could find their own strength within themselves. Adrian just wasn't mature enough to do that yet. In the end, even if the Rose/Dimitri pairing didn't happen, I think she would have stayed with Adrian for a while but it eventually would have faded away because of the aforementioned reasons.

Rose and Dimitri make the best couple! i love their relationship, aaaaah i loved homecoming but i keep craving for more Roza and Dimka!

Adrian is a hotty but i dnt think him and Rose suit to be honest. Him and Sydney are cute, and even tho i like them i still think the VA series are better than Bloodlines, maybe its because i LOVE Rose as the protagnosit and i fell in love with Guardian Dimitri Belikov, well thats my opinion!

I would've been SO mad if Rose and Dimitri hadn't ended up together! They'd been through so much together already... and Rose was never really into Adrian that much to begin with.

I like to think Adrian and Jill (Jailbait) ended up toogether.

I guess I'm in the minority but I really feel Dimitri should have died after becoming Strigoi.
I still love the books, but my enjoyment of them sorta diminished after we found out Dimitri wasn't dead and then we find out there is a way to possibly save him. The series started seeming a little far fetched, a little too wishful-thinking for me as it reached it's conclusion.
I absolutely hated what Rose said to Adrian at the end of the series. Rose has acted the victim plenty of times. Overcoming the horrors she has experienced has made her the strong woman she is and acting like Adrian played the victim the whole time when he helped just as much as everyone else was a very horrible move on her part. Adrian is an addict, there is nothing wrong with him wanting a strong woman or reassurance from said woman that she'll be his strength when his fails him.
Rose didn't deserve Adrian. I personally think Rose shouldn't have ended up in any kind of relationship. Even though I feel things should have been different I still do love the series and I'm perfectly fine with the ending.
I'm not too sad for Adrian, his story continues in Bloodlines and I'm super excited to read that.

Ehhh, I never really thought that would happen. It's been shown since the first book that Dimitri was Rose's true love and I never doubted they would end up together. (Hence why her dating Adrian just after she thought she killed Dimitri felt to me like she was just using him. Poor Adrian.)

Adrian and Rose never really fit together; I believe Adrian's true love is still out there in Mead's universe and her name is definitely not Sydney Sage.

I loved both Dimitri & Adrian & I really felt sorry for Adrian when his heart got broken but I still think that Rose ending up with Dimitri was for the best. Their pair just feels so right - they absolutely complete each other :)

If Rose didn't end up with Dimitri.. I don't even want to think about this.
But IF it HAD to happen, I honestly don't think she would have ended up with Adrian either. She was pushed into the relationship, and where there may have been some passion between them, she didn't feel anywhere NEAR how she felt with Dimitri, and I feel like she definitely wouldn't settle for that.

That is the worst feeling just thinking about it.

Honestly if they didn't end up together (the author would never do that to us unless there was another series that had to do with just them) , I would cry a lot. Then I would read as many fanfictions I could that shipped Rose and Dimitri together, and I would try to imagine that that's what actually happened in the book.

even if dimitri was gone , rose would never have stayed with adrian . the only reason she was with its because she was heartbroken and afraid to be lonely , but it would have ended eventually cuase adrain is just wrong for her . he only wanted to change to empress her and because she made him a better person , thats why when she left to hunt dimitri he kept his habits just the same . and honestly he should never have asked her for a relationship , she was clearly all for dimitri all the time .
and rose needed someone strong and not someone that needs here there all the time , her work is to protect lisa . adrian would never understand how much that goes. and i dont think rose is a mother type honestly . so it was the perfect ending , even though i would have prefered she was never with adrian and kept saying no to him

Just because the second hero is totally "awesome" doesn't mean he can steal the limelight from the first. Dimitri is her soulmate and i cant envision Rose with anyone.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo. I would have probably thrown the book across the room. Rose and Dimitri needed to be together. Rose wasn't the right girl for for Adrian and she doesn't seem like the child-bearing type of girl anyway.

Then it would have ruined the whole story because everyone expected her to end up with him. It was such a shock when he turned stigroi i taught Rose would never end up with him. But, all turned well and they live happily ever after. The End!!!

It would have been tragic! I liked Adrian but he and Rose just didn't make a good couple in my opinion. I love Dimitri

My personal opinion is that it would just kill the book, I mean Dimitri and Rose were obviously meant to be, so.... it would have just killed me if it had been that way....

That would reaaaallllllly ruin the book. I mean it would be a weird ending if Dimitri would be left out of Roses life because in all the previouse book it was all about their love etc

I don't think it would have worked out. Rose and Adrian were great together, but there was just so much buildup for Rose and Dimitri and you knew that they were going to end up together.

I still feel bad for Adrian and how things ended. D; He deserved so much better.

Dimitri and Rose - it just had to be... Adrian will find he's soul mate eventually!

I like Rose, I love Adrian, I hate Dimitri with a boiling passion, sorry all you Dimka fans... I agree that ending the book without Dimitri would have left a weird ending, but what if he died saving Rose? And she moves on with Adrian, who she can finally give her heart to now?
I think she was meant to end up with Dimitri though... From the beginning you could tell she was going to end up with him, even though he's not the best character out there...

OMG! I love Rosa and Dimka. I wouldn't like it if Rosa became Adrian's new love. She did warn him about her love for another. And I definitely did not feel bad for Adrian.

Rose and Adrian are too alike. both are impulsive and reckless. Plus, there is that small fact that Rose was never over Dimitri.Personally I think if rose didn't end up with Dimitri, it would have been a disaster relationship wise. But the end twist would have been very interesting and would have generated a lot of moaning and groaning.

P.S : I think it would have been unfair to Adrian too, since rose has always used him. Used him for his money, to get over her heartbreak and to finally bring Dimitri back. Very unfair. Adrian is better off without her!

i hated how Rose broke Adrians heart! he was (still is) my most favourite character! i would've been over the moon if she'd said no to Dimitri. i mean, he left her, then came back, and told her he loved her. who was there for her every step of the way? ADRIAN! :'(
but then again, Dimitri WAS her first love.......

Just thinking about it makes my heart ache!!!
But it would be a loss for both adrian and dimitri!!
Because if adrian stayed with Rose he would've never gotten close to sydney!!
And Dimitri would suffer because rose will always love him but she will never be with him!!
Thats why i love richelle she makes us suffer a bit then she rewards us with stuff like that!!!

I would have been very sad and would of given up on the series. (even though it was the last book) i probably wouldn't have read

Meh. I think they both should have died in the Last Sacrifice. At least that way the title would have made sense.
