i think it was good. Around page 40 or so i just put it down and forgot abt it though. However when i got back to it i enjoyed it.

I thought the writing was great. Sometimes the story hooked me in, at times it didn't. The fact that the aunts kidnapped the children was a bit hard to get over, I thought. Caring for the creatures was important, but was it that important?!
Since I like fantasy and adventure, I was captivated by the book, though others might not be.
