I would also include anthologies of Asimov's 1940's (and some later) short stories that explored the possible results of the Laws of Robotics.

Certainly start with I, Robot.

I read them (apart from the original Foundation Trilogy) in a completely random but still grasped the general arc of the story. As they all stand up as good books in themselves I don't think the order you read them matters much. Although the original trilogy act as a good anchor point for the rest.
