This book sealed the deal for me as a writer. It is one of those books I read and re-read over and over again. The characters, especially Dean Mallory. This book is filled with suspense, but what I love the most is the past history between Dean and Paris and how certain events tore them apart and how tragedy caused their lives to go in different directions until they are face to face once again and must deal with what tore them apart in the first time. In the background is gripping suspense tale that just keeps you on the edge of your seat. I've read many of Sandra Brown's books and this is hands down my favorite. So, I recommend to everyone to go read and lets discuss!

Has anyone here read this book? For those that have I want to know what your thoughts are on the backstory. What the hero and heroine "did" that pulled them apart, but also how that affected someone else in the book. It could have hurt the relationship with reader but I thought it was so well done that I sympathized with the hero and heroine. If you haven't read the book, I highly recommend it.
