uhhh....I want a scene where Katy and Ash(Bimbo Alien) fight! That would be awesome! LOL
Katy walked down the hall not liking the places her mind took her. Yesterday with the DOD was not good. She shuddered at the memory. They were making more frequent visits looking for something.
Like they already knew there was something suspicious going on. What if they found out!
"Daemon is making a mistake." someone hissed under-breath.
Kat looked up to see Ash smirking at her. What does she want now! Ever since the 'incident' she's been more persistent on annoying her. Well it won't work today. Kat thought and ignored her. Then reached her locker taking out her books, but Ash didn't take her cue.
"You're still too lit, and now there more Arum. That goes without saying the DOD..."she paused for good measure, but Kat refused to her the satisfaction of a reaction. They all want information.
Kat side stepped her and started walking to class. Before she knew what was happening Ash was in her face and the books fell scattered on the floor. A slow smile formed on her face.
"Bitch!" the word was out before Kat could stop it, but it felt good and she didn't take it back.
Ash's face turned crimson red, with anger and rage!!
Good! Kat thought.
The victory was short lived, when her face was struck lightning fast by Ash's outstretched hand.
It stung like fire!!! Then the pain gradually disappeared....
Ash's jaw dropped as she stared at Kat's face.
"What are you?" she looked pale with shock.
The mark was gone!

Hmmmm...okay, so Dawson is obviously alive and Katy somehow sees him and doesn't know how to handle it. It looks too much like the govt. did it, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say they were actually taken by the Arum to be turned and used as a weapon. I know, it's out there! LOL A new guy is going to come into the picture and totally swoon over Katy, driving Daemon up a wall. Now, a week ago I would have said that I think Katy will just flirt with the guy but things won't really go anywhere, but..(Covenant series spoiler here...)(view spoiler) That being said, I hope with all my soul that Armentrout lets Katy and Daemon have many more fabulous moments like they did on her couch!!! =)

Yep....in fact just two weeks ago....I had these popcorn where it was caramel and cashews together...they were soooo good and the taste was different too!

New Guy (Part 3)
Katy was feeling weird these last couple of days, and not in a good way either. She almost fainted in PE yesterday and everyday she feels more and more fatigue. It started after the shock healing powers showed up in front of Ash, but her greater fear was if Daemon found out. That would be a disaster! she thought. He already thought she needed protection every second of her living life. It was sweet, thoughtful, and very welcome...it also implied that she's WEAK! Uh-uh, that was never going to happen. She was resolved to be stronger....until today....
She rushed out of class to the bathroom, she was going to fall over her face any second... her insides turned and she started sweating with fever.Thank god Daemon wasn't in her last class, otherwise it'd be over. She felt like there were other communication levels that had developed between them lately...which was disadvantageous sometimes.
She wouldn't make it ...
Oh god! What's happening to me! she thought with panic. She rested her back on the wall and tried to keep conscious.
"Hold on, I'll get you." Someone said, but it sounded very distant as she struggled to stay on her feet.
Two arms held her up, and then something cold went down her throat. Water?
"Are you okay?" the voice asked.
"I feel like my life is burning out." she said hoarsely. It felt like the right way to describe it, because it didn't feel normal.
"I know" said the stranger.
Suddenly her temperature was back to normal, and she could see clearly. She was in that new guy's ARMS!
She jumped up hastily, feeling winded. "Sorry, I..."
"No need, you'll need to learn how to control that."
"Wha...?"
"Too much power, it's not human so your body can react strangely at times."
Her jaw dropped and she stared at him dumbfounded, "You know..."
"Yes, and I can help you, Kat, but promise me you'll tell no one of this." His honey eyes looked serious when he added, "Especially the luxen."
"Um...okay, I won't say." Tho she felt slightly guilty about the promise.
"Okay...see you around, if you need help let me know."
"Wait,... you didn't tell me your name?" she called after him.
He smiled at her, "I thought everyone already knew." he laughed. "It's Leo" ...
