I took care of Dee, and this is for Adam!
Sitting across from Dee, Adam couldn't help feel out of place. He knew they both didn't really have the feeling, and emotions that created a relationship. What they had was a forced... What was it the humans called it? ARRANGED MARRIAGE!
Okay, so maybe they aren't there, but where are they headed?
If not for him? Then what of Dee? He could never love her, like she deserved, and that wasn't fair. But if it's a girl, then Dee is probably a lucky pick!
Only he didn't love her!
He loved her brother!
Her deceased brother....
He shook his head to stop the path his thoughts were taking. It won't have made a difference anyway.
Dee gave him a concerned look, "If you don't want to be here, it's fine with me." she said.
He forced a smile at her, "No, I want to." he lied.
He always lied...
