Stephen And Rory

Stephen and Rory ALL THE WAY. There's more mystery to Stephen's character -- he's harder to get, more conflicted, and will ultimately be able to keep up with Rory better.

I can see them together. I think they'd be cute together, too. I like both of them really well (Stephen was my favorite character) and I agree with you.

I thought the same as well. I was also thinking that maybe what Rory saw in the end might coax her into begging her parents to stay at Wexford. If so then I think she should be with Stephen because you could tell that Jerome was just a diversion for everything Rory was going through. It was solely infatuation and with Stephen there might be more.

I don't know..........! Hmm...?! I'd have to think about that one....

To me, Jerome seemed too one dimensional; I liked him but Stephen seemed way more real and complex. I liked him a lot!

I agree that there are more dimensions to Stephen than there is Jerome. I'd like to see something happen between the two, but since Boo and Callum kinda got together at the end, it'd be kinda cliche if Stephen and Rory pair off. I think it'd be better than Jerome, but still. I preferred Stephen over Jerome

Yeah, I really love this couple, Stephen and Rory. ;)

For some reason...I never really liked Jerome. The whole entire time (since that scene with Rory's and Jerome's kiss in front of Stephen that would be the START of the series of tension to come)...I was Team Stephen all the way. Stephen<3
i knew i wasn't the only one to see it....:)

Oh yeah!! I think that they'll - meaning Stephen and Rory - get together in the next book...don't you? I thought Jerome was a bit too boring and shallow.

I totally agree. With Stephen's past and his many layers that we have yet to find out, he would definitely be a way better love interest. I definitely felt that there was some kind of tension/connection with him and Rory so I have a feeling that they will happen in future books.

I want Stephan and Rory to get together as well. It just seemed like Jerome was just there, you know. He cute and quirky and liked her and she started to kind of like him but it didn't seem lasting.

Stephan is complex and I think if there is to be romance between them it will be slow coming.

I way prefer Stephen to Jerome in the case of Rory, besides if we take away R from Rory and replace it with St (from Stephen), we get STORY!

I thought the whole Jermone thing was really random, it seemed like an awkward relationship. I didn't really connect with his character at all. Stephen is a much better character, Rory should definitely end up with him.♥

I prefer Stephen and Jazza. Although they hardly shared a scene together, i think that they're a good pairing. I think it would be interesting to see the redeemed rich boy and the hardworking farm girl together. I would love to see them as a couple in the sequel, plus Jazza's one of my favorite characters. I hope she'll again be a major character in the second book, although she happens to be the outsider for this moment.

Rory and Stephen simply have to be together!! I cannot stress that enough! I never felt any chemistry between Rory and Jerome. Their relationship doesn't even feel like love- they seem to be together for the full purpose of kissing. Teenage hormones, eh?

Don't get me wrong, Jerome is a likable person and all. But I don't just want likable. I want depth. Stephen has depth- when I think back to him, I feel stronger emotions; more conflicting emotions.

Plus, I find that there is much more chemistry between Stephen and Rory- in every glance, touch or word they share. It shows how hugely desperate I am for them to be together.

So I hope Rory and Stephen end up together in The Madness Underneath. As for Jerome... don't worry lad, we'll find you someone else!

No, I think they'd be good together, too. I kept thinking something about Jerome would come up. If the sequel continues, I think the author sort of hinted that Wexford would be part of the past, and thus Jerome, Jazza and the others as well.
