um, i rose is cool...but i think her and lissa should trade names...

I wouldn't want to be any of the characters... I mean, yeah, Lissa and Rose are awesome, but their life is too hard... What with being the last of the royal family, and being looked at as a freak because depending on who you ask, she either didn't specialize or she has some freaky power to bring people to life... And then Rose, protecting Lissa and having her own problems at the same time... being in love with her mentor, for one.
I would want either of their lives... just their boyfriends...

la-la-la I like Dimitri (btw, I just finished the first one).. I dont know if I really like Christian..I mean..you don't really know mucho about him in the first book.
dimitri looks a tad to old, in my opinion
wouldn't want to be rose, because of what happens in book 3. i'd want to be another novice, though.
DIMITRI IS FIRST PLACE..christian is 2nd..and adrian is 3rd... dimitri is just perfect..i love him because hes all b.a. and everything in one!...christian..hmm...i loved him from the start but never noticed it untill i went to the part in book 3 where he was all b.a. and took down strigoi with rose.. they are the perfect team..TEAM not couple.. adrian is just plain b.a.
all are super hot!

and i think that the names fit the characters PERFECTLY...another one of my opinions..but um yeah.. those are my thoughts so far.. and oh yeah.. dimitri better flippin stay with rose.. some way he needs to become good and stay with her... i will be heart broken if they don't get to be together

i don't know..it started with an m or something..i was reading through conversations about va and it said something about her..so..yeah..i'll find it though sooner or later i hope sooner.haha
Ms. Karp???? Also, I reread the first book in the VA series, and I believe I will know what will happen with Dimitri and Rose. I plan on rereading the second and third books more slowly as well, just to make sure that my hunch is considered to be legit. I tend to have a tendency to know what people are going to do based on their personality. I am right most of the time. I don't know how I got this and it is a pain sometimes. Especially in a book series because I figure out the ending before I am 2/3 of the way into the book. Wow, that para. makes me sound like a freak. Oh well, can't help what I am! Sometimes,- "personality, I guess you could call it" is actually a big help.
I'm not sure, I have to reread the second and third books more slowly. I read each book in one day, but when I reread the first book, I read only a chapter a day. Including this month, there is only 6 months left until the release of Blood Promise!!!
whats blood promise?? is it a new series?? i need more books to read and im totally with you i read all my books in one day. they are to good to put down. except for school of course! i have to then :( but yeah... whats blood promise?? ok and know what? i totally think dimitri is gonna die... well maybe not die but its gonna get bad before it gets better.... just because the author is gonna know all the girls will love dimitri and rose and their relationship and not its ruined and everyone is hoping that they get back together and stuff so she is gonna dissappoint everyone before she makes them happy :)

you're not dumb. Yu just didn't know! Omg!!! I am now getting my books that teach russian in the mail soon! I have also reserved a copy from bn for Hunted. (5th book in House of Night series)

My dad doesn't mind. I already know a good bit of spanish, basic german, and even a smidge of French. Plus, he knows that I love languages and I would learn them all if I could. As long as I become fluent is spanish as well, he's cool with it. As for my mom, as long as my grades are decent in spanish, she doesn't seem to care. She honestly believed that I would never get german, but my final grades proved her wrong at that time. I took german for 18 weeks and managed to get these three grades: 90, 93, and a 97. So, she believes that I will get russian. All I know is that I will be taking french over the summer and Right now, I am trying to learn as much french as possible.
When it comes to spanish, I can start a 30 minute conversation with a native speaker. Sometimes an even longer conversation. I have been studying spanish for almost 2 1/2 years now. At my school we have spanish I-V plus spanish for native speakers I-II and intro to spanish literature I -II. In my junior year I will be taking spanish III and IV.
Like I said, I love languages. It's a part of who I am. I love languages so much that I have pen pals in France, Germany, Sri Lanka, Russia, Argentina, Spain, Great Britian and here in the US as well.
In the meantime, I am also getting a head start in Russian (like French) and I am learning the Russian alphabet here: http://www.russianlessons.net/
Wow, that's so cool you know so many languages. I took Russian in high school for 3 years and I actually thought it was a fun language to learn.
Really? That's cool that you took Russian! My favorite language is German. I just love it for some reason. My friend speaks portugese and was born in Portugal. She came to the United States at the age of 10.
omg my friend knows portugese too! he is from there but he moved to canada long ago but he also knows english :) and he doesnt have an accent or anything.lol. :) :)

Me too.They deserve eachother and yet she just might kill him in the next book...horrible...that can't happen...I wont let it...lol...If dimitri does die tho-so will the book.
