Lightning Rods

Has anybody read this book? I finished this book about a week ago and I am not quite sure how I feel about it. I read somewhere that it was written in 1999...which makes more sense as far as the technology in the book. But...I am really not sure how I feel about this book!

I haven't read it, but the Tournament of Books judge made it sound less than appealing to me. I will be honest and say that I think Salvage the Bones should have won this round, but that's just my bias since I haven't read this one.

You know I hadn't read my ToB news today yet. Quite honestly I'm disgusted that Lightning beat Salvage. I've read both in the past 3 weeks. Lightning doesn't come anywhere near the brilliance of Salvage The Bones, IMO. Wow. Super disappointed.

That is funny! No-- actually I did read it because of the ToB, I'm making my way through them all. I forgot that it started this week! It's just been on my mind. My brain doesn't know how to process it :-)

(LOVE the podcast btw! I discovered it in January and I catch up with the episodes on Stitcher!)
