Yes, that's true. :D

Angie Learning quickly or not is not the matter, the matter is about how much you can learn and how much knowlegde your mind can retain.

Anyone can learn quickly, I agree, but how long it will take to forget it is another issue.

It is also about if one is really fond of learning or not.

You have to remember that the book isn't true. It's just a story. However some people can learn quiker then others......

Laszlo Everyone learns like that, and I would like to explain: I may know a lot about Physics and everybody might say I am so smart because of it, and another person may know barley anything about Physics and be considered "Stupid" because of it, but that same person can know much more than I do in, say, fashion or sports or whatever. When I try to teach that person about Physics she learns slowly, and when that person tries to teach me about fashion I learn slowly, but the difference is that society values one over the other.
Also, if you think about the giant universe and all we have learned about it, we are all pretty stupid.

Bad Wolf Everyone at ny school said I was smart.... But k barely scraped a B on math. They only thoht I wad smart because I knew random facts. I hated it.

Mason I was, like twice as smart as her when I was five ;)

Thoht? And wad?"

Sorry! My phone is a butt sometimes... I meant 'thought' and 'was.'

Olivia I am always considered clever which I,not boasting, was until I started year 5. People rely on me to give them the answers and sometimes I want o rip my hair out. Unfortunately I have long blonde hair so I prefer not to do hat.

True, quite true. It also depends on whether or not you are a determined person. Some people hate learning because it doesn't work or make sense the first time so they give up.

Same here. They thought I knew all this stuff just because that's who I was but really, I kept my mouth shut and bothered to listen to my teachers in primary and that helped me in secondary. I remembered things people told me when I was in grade 4 and that helped me in year eight.

Sarah Matilda is special and awesome so that's why she is really smart.
