I think this is a serious problem. Many have made many mistakes by going along with the crowd, like for example I was at a party and people were kissing and all of that. This guy comes up to me and well, let just say is pretty drunk and I just left the party. For a second, I was pressured to just go along with it and many other times I have done something that I now regret. My friend got peer pressured into drinking and so she drunk and ended up in the morning with a guy. You never know what could happen and there are consequences.

Have you ever been pressured into doing something you wouldn't usually do?

Shannon I think that peer pressure is a serious problem because it happens a lot.

People give into being pressured and...bad things happen.

I know that it's hard to give into peer pressure but if you stand up for what you believe in, even if your friends despise you for it then it'll be worth it :)

The thing about us as human beings is that we are self-conscious. Some people might claim to be not self-conscious but they think things like "What do they think of me?" "Is this outfit trendy enough?" etc. Because of the feeling of self-consciousness we can easily give into peer pressure..unless if we say "No. I am not going to give in" :)

That's all that I had to say :D

And, just randomly, I love Paramore!!! XD

People do give into peer pressure. We need to find the courage to stand up for what we believe in.
