Stephii, I think we are going to get along great!!! :D I thought he made a kick ass bad vamp and yet there was still something loving about him. The way he treats Rose wasnt all horrible, I mean he could have just killed her and been done with it but instead he keeps her in a twisted kind of love way :)

Same here, it was not as thrilling seeign him come back all sad and stuff. Secretly I think it would have been fun to see Rose turned and they both go after Lissa...Then Lissa and Adrian could figure it out and change them back :D In my mind that would have added about 2 more books to the series :D

This is one of my favorite series. I also liked the spin off, Bloodlines. Although Adrian had his problems, he seems dreamy (maybe that just the dream walking), but hey he's from a royal family.

VA has been one of my faves for the longest. Looooveee it. And I'm a huge Adrian fan-girl, so I loved Bloodlines like crazy, too. I can't wait until The Golden Lily! :) (Though, until I read the entire spin-off series and can judge properly, VA is still better to me.)

Finally! I meet some people who loved Blood Promise as much as I did! It was my favorite of the series. Not just because of Dimitri, but the whole tone of the book felt so much different from that point in my opinion. That's when it became darker and more emotional for me. I just didn't get it when everyone I came across kept telling me that was their least favorite one, lol, but to each their own. :P

I'm kind of glad to read that I'm not the only person on the planet that really enjoyed Blood Promise. Most of my friends think I'm a nut when I say it's my favourite in the series.

I've just got my hubby into the series as well - he's 3/4 of the way through the first book at the moment & at least he doesn't have to hang on waiting for books to be released like I did lol

I have read this series twice myself, and I love it even more now!! Blood Promise is my fav too. (I'm agreeing a lot today!)

but what I didn't like was how Rose ripped out Adrian's heart and jumped all over it!! I was shattered!! I loved Adrian from the very first time we met him and couldn't believe what Rose did. So when I found out that he was coming back in Bloodlines I was excited! Don't get me wrong though, Rose and Dimitri are the perfect couple, but ..... It's Adrian!!

Naomi, I am with you all the way! I love,, love, love Adrian and am dying for him to find a nice girl and have many little vamp babies lol. I lost a lot of respect for Rose after everything she did to him.

I could see Rose was going to crush him, and that he was so fragile even though he tried to be tough.... And I love how he can dream travel.... So hot!! I'd have dreams with him anytime!

I know we have a separate thread for Bloodlines the spin off of this series but Adrian's in those books. Just thought I'd let all you Adrian lovers know :) Oh...and I'm right there with you on all the comments about him...love him.
