In the begining the chraracters are introduced which is Nettie, celie, pa, and Mr._____. Celie doesn't want to marry Mr._____ but she has to because she already has one kid by him. After, they get married Celie and Mr.______ start to have sexual intercourses.Squeak went to her husbands house and they talked and she said that he saw the Harold in her and didn't like it one bit so he beat her. Nettie is a missionaryin Africa.Tashi keeps Olivia busy after school when Nettie is out helping other people. Then Celie turns from a passionate teenager to a independent woman and she makes pants for her family and whoever else wants them. In, the end Nettie and her children come home. Nettie and Celie hug for a long time. Then Nettie introduces her to her husband Samuel and her children Olivia and Adam. Finally, Adam introduces Celie to his wife Tashi.Te children think that Celie, Nettie, Shug, Albert, Samuel, Harpo, Sofia Jack and Odessa are real old but they don't feel old at all they think that this is the youngest they've ever felt.
