I will start off lol. Hi everyone who joins this page. I created it because I want writers (like myself) to share our work with reader etc. I love horror books and paranormal fiction and I also want to share that passion with others.
I have 3 short stories published right now and my first novel out in early 2013 so I am excited. I love the Anita blake series, Dark Swan and Va though I read lots of other books that arent series 'related. I also love indie authors, there is some amaing talent out there and I will share my great little finds on here.

Hi, I'm about to self-publish my first book - Crimes Against magic - in Mid-April this year. It's an Urban Fantasy mostly set in Modern day London with flashbacks to 15th century France. The cover was finished last week http://stevejmchugh.wordpress.com/201... which I'm very happy with.

It's all very exciting and terrifying in equal parts.

My reaction to the Mara Dyer book was "I want my book to meet this book and for them to have babies" It was that good! ;-)

Haha. You know, word of mouth is what sells book. Four of my friends went and purchased that book after I finished it. They all feel the same way about it. :-) Now, seriously, I wish I could promote myself as well as I do Michelle Hodkin.

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to be part of this group. I am new to the publishing world. My first short story was published October 2011 and my next will be out this month! I'm currently working on a YA novella loosely based on Little Red Riding Hood! When I'm not writing, I'm reading! Currently, I'm knee deep into The Song of Ice and Fire Series by George R. R. Martin, which is fantastic, and I'm a huge Hunger Games fan! So nice to meet you all!

I know what you mean Krystal :) word of month works wonders I guess that is why i wanted this group up. I know many wonderful and fantastic groups on here but they seem more directed for readers ( which i must say is great) I want this group to be more focused on the indie Authors and allowing readers to find someone knew to read etc. So please promote your work and share the group :) Then hopefully we will get a widespread word of month promoting happening :)

Let's see, a little about myself, well, I really like tomatoes and tex-mex style food especially salsa, but you're probably more interested in the writing portion.

I'm a horror writer and my latest novel, The Sinner, was lucky enough to win the Royal Palm Literary Award within the Horror category. That one just got released last week by Blood Bound Books.

My short stories are scattered around in about 15 or so anthologies from different publishers.

I'm Tammy, I live in Ontario, Canada, I'm a Domestic Goddess (aka stay at home mom) I have 3 kids, (1 child and 2 dogs) a 8yr boy, and 2, 4 legged kids, if I lump my hubby in to it then I have 4. I'm in my early 30's and about to celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary.

I read everyday, it is my escape from the tedious, I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on, but it seems like most of the books on my bookshelves are some sort of paranormal.
