What Instruments Do You Play?

Guitar--11yrs
Drums--2yrs
Flute--attempted and failed

Guitar-- Feverishly learned it with gladness and much trial, but now the rewards are free-flowing.

Drums-- Learned how to play these a little earlier, and can now ply them half decently at least.

Keyboard/Piano-- Started at an early age but have yet to become as skilled as with the guitar.

Steeldrum-- Uhm, again an early age. But my current skill with this sinks below all of the above listed.

Never heard of it?? NEVER HEARD OF IT?? Yes, it's a great song, though it's from a little while back. Go to youtube, type in 'Castles in the Air' by Don Mclean, and look for the video with the rather elderly looking chap with a dark shirt sitting down with a guitar in his hands. That's some guitar playing.

Haha okay. Sorry for my complete lack of knoweldge--I'm into movies, books, TV, everything to with media and that sort of industry...except music. I literally do not listen to it which is probably why I'm so uninspired by playing musical instruments :-P

My parents--that's what! I've never been very enthusiastic about it, believe me, and I'll always end up playing random songs from the radio that I've hardly ever heard of.

Hey, Phoebe. You have to enjoy playing the instrument or else you'll never get it. Trust me on that. Maybe you should find something that you like to play. Bagpipes perhaps....

I just remembered i have a dusty keyboard in my closet, and I'm searchin' for the cable that it uses, lol. I think i'll try to play again. (if you can even call what i do playing, because i can't read note music much! :P :) )

It's also nice to know u wanna play da violin. Violinists are some of the best music-players around, i think. But that's just my opinion. :)

I've been playing piano for 8 years :)

My piano teacher hates me because I still can't read music properly, not quickly any way :) I just remember the songs after I play them through a few times... Once I could remember a whole 5 page song and play it through :)

I have a keyboard. But it mostly sits in my bedroom cupboard until I have any use of it...I mostly just use it to help write really lame songs... :P

Everything but the French Horn yea - I've played in a funk band, several brass quintets, and a professional orchestra. I also teach private lessons on the trombone and euphonium. Plus, I get paid to fill in trombone spots/parts for several large churches in my area. French Horn, well I can do it, prob high middle school lvl...I just don't like to. Can't play my other horns for a day or two after cus it just messes with the brain a bit. I can play most other instruments as well to basic beginning lvl thanks to instrument tech classes I had to take when I got my music degree....except for flute...for some reason flute and I just don't agree. *whispers* Flute is evil!
