Added a new edition - appears as new book

I am not a librarian. I added a new edition for The Lions of Little Rock by Kristin Levine. It's a nook book I just purchased. It has been created as a new book. Is this normal practice. Does someone have to "fix" it?

New Books are never automatically combined (for various reasons). I combined these for you. :)
