They weird words..

Okay, what does "icy" mean? Please tell me if you know! I have some kind of idea but I'm not positive.

It's been a while since I read the books, but I remember it being something along the lines of "extreme clearness" that comes from self-inflicted pain (and their other activities).
Remember, the pretties have a clouded thought that comes from the brain lesions. So being "icy" is kind of like the opposite of that.
Others may feel free to correct me if I am wrong. As I said, it's been a long time.
