शून्य साधना योग Sanskrit for (meditation on) Zero (number)
Skies are blue. Birds are gliding, instead of gliding on a frozen bay. Ducks are taking leisurely walks, instead of paddling or waddling in (liquid) water. (Earth) worms are worming their way into (now) wet lawns and not so wet, sidewalks, to be (quickly) grabbed by the (hungry) birds.
God(s) in Hindu heaven are taking their (much needed) daily naps.
Time to do some शून्य साधना योग Oops, शून्य साधना योग निश्चित करोम्यहं Sanskrit for I better do some serious meditation on (zero) Oops, numbers (that) define our universe.
Actually, my good buddy, James D Stein is way ahead of me. You (dumbos) too.
COSMIC NUMBERS: The NUMBERS That DEFINE Our Universe, Stein, James D., New York, Basic Books, a Division of Perseus Books, Hardbound p. 228 2011
Really, really, I go.
Not my expertise. In my first grade, in (basic) arithmetic class, as I remember, mostly agonizingly, I used to get (big) zero. So much so, that I decided to eliminate that nasty number from (my) entire, very short (Marathi) vocabulary.
My dad also (similarly) while he was of my age, 5, (five) made the decision. From zero to eternity.
Having dropped out from his first grade and having become very successful and very rich person in our little town, he not only discouraged me form destroying the very nasty number, 0, (zero) but insisted that I better get some higher number in my tests. Or else.
Or else refers to a capital punishment.
"Take your pick, you silly" Says my dad.
आत्मोपषन अग्निदहन अग्निपरिक्षा Sanskrit for death by starvation, death by fire, walking on fire.
"Too many choices. I can't make up my mind. Give me some time to think. Moreover, I gotta go." I said and ran to the safety of my grandmother.
She knew the routine.
"Since when you became a mathematician, Laddy-boy?" she yelled (loudly) at my dad.
"I gotta go." Says my dad.
The End.
