Two weeks ago. Yeah, you should be okay. But, if chapter 34 makes you revise your opinion of the book, let me know and I can chuck a file your way. Save you the hassle of getting Amazon to relinquish the update. Useless blighters.

Anyway, I digress...

Chapter 34 seemed to flow ok, so I am sure I have the right version.
Ward

Thank you in advance Ward, regardlss of the outcome! :)
(And yeah, if you had the wrong version you'd be calling me a very silly man by now.)

Hardly a huge scandal, just a change to a few paragraphs here and there.

It's certainly none the worse for the change and I thought the whole book was huge fun. Oops, probably should have saved that for 'Discussions and Spoilers'!

No need to be nervous. It was a fun read, and I did manage to sort through the "humour."

Jim I think this is what they call "tall poppy syndrome". It's your first book, your first month and you're doing rather well. I'm living in hope for the day someone finally picks some of my tripe to read on here!
Nice going and don't let them get to you. I must get them to send me the new version then... with the no thingy aliens.
Cheers
MTM

I'm very pleased with how things are going. I'm expecting some of the discussion that might arise here won't be quite so easy reading for me, but I expect the rough with the smooth. Had my first really negative feedback today, too, but then the next guy at the same forum bought it.
MTM, I'd like to pump you for info about your paperback version. And, despite being on chapter 3 of Davies book after 3 weeks, I'm so gonna read yours, too.
I downloaded it about two weeks ago, so I suspect I am OK.
On the voting on the reviews, you can vote on your own product, not your own review. Since you only get one vote, why not? It isn't like you are going to sway the world one way or the other.
Eventually, all reviews work their way to the bottom (I've got one right now, I wish would slither away into a hole).
