No he wasn't. Tom asked about 7 not 8.
even if a horcrux would make me immortal why would i want to be immortal? you would live on forever and eventually would have nothing to do and would forget ur parents and your friends and on and on. and maybe eventually you would lose your humanity.
No way man! Once I'm dead, I'm dead. It sickens me thinking of killing another person to prolong your own life. That's just sick!
No. I wouldn't be able to kill a person. (I can't even attack anyone. Not even verbally.)Also, I don't think there is such a thing as a 'soul'. Therefore this wouldn't work anyway, except if we were in the Harry Potter universe where souls seem to exist.
Are you serious? People said they would do this? They're crazy! Creating a horcrux is difficult, painful, and ruins your soul. You have to kill someone just to make one. I wouldn't do it.
Casey wrote: "I would never do it. First off, I like my soul just where it is inside of me. I do not want to be immortal. That thought scares me to be honest.Second off, I could never kill someone. Never."
I agree with Casey. Iwould like to just become dead when the time comes and not have to kill people. thats disgusting.
No, killing people is scary in general.
i don't think i would like to KILL someone so i could split my soul and put it in an object. To live with myself after doing something that terrible is worse than dying!
no. i don't think anyone should be splitting their souls and kill someone to live longer. people might want to live longer, but surely, not by making a horcrux.
No way! I don't care whatever ethics and life elixirs back it up, it is ripping apart your soul and I would trade nothing, not even all the books I want or eternal life to demoralise and destroy my body in such a way.P.S - I know it isn't real, but if it WAS real... >:(
id rather live a simple single lifetime than complicate it with having two then screw up on the next.
Maybe it would be hard to kill somebody but, I'm curious about it and I would probably make one. Even though I know it is dangerous.
i say i wouldnt make one unless i had to kill someone killing me... like if i was in all the fighting against voldemort and i killed a death eater out of self deffense i might make one as insurance but i would never do it out of fear of dying or kill innocent people like voldemort did. over all id prolly be the one destroying bad peoples horcruxes
No, wouldn't want to murder anyone and have a detached soul. And the way Voldemort described his existence without a body sounded rather horrible.
'Of course, this is all hypothetical, what we're discussing, isn't it? All academic...'Well in any case my answer is NO!
If it so happened that I am all alone in the world, and have nothing to care for, I might. Splitting my soul might help my many thoughts. I could split myself into as many attitudes/moods I have. At least part of me will have conviction. Kidding. I would not commit an act of evil that would split my soul.
I wouldn't do that. Even if you avoid the whole SPLITTING YOUR SOUL!!! part, I wouldn't want to do something so horrible that would create a Horcrux.
No, because:1. I wouldn't want to damage my soul by murdering anyone
2. I wouldn't want to live forever anyway, I'd rather just move "on" like Sirius and Dumbledore
3. Voldemort's existence without a body sounded rather horrible, frustrating, and helpless. This is probably the main reason I wouldn't want to create a horcrux. I wouldn't want to go through that.
Yeah no. Cause then that would mean murder and you know I don't do murder, just not my thing. I'd rather have my soul whole then split anyway.
of course I wouldn't. What's so cool about being an immortal. It means you are being left alone to watch your loved ones die. it's sad and lonely situation.
Nope. But I'd rather have the philosopher's stone. Having long age means I can try to do a lot of things, hopefully good enough for others :D
I would not do it. I believe living only once is quite enough if you make the best out of your experience.
hell no. its not without any consenquences, id rather have a quality life than be given with long terrible years to endure
Eww, no! I would never kill someone. Even if I did kill someone, I'd be feeling so bad about it, that my life probably wouldn't be worth living any more anyway, because of all the guilt I'd feel. I reckon, anyone who says they would kill to get a horcrux is just saying it to act "more committed to the books" (trust me, I've heard someone say that) but wont actually do it when the time came, or is just plain crazy!
I would never ever think of doing that (maybe if I were dying, but no) walking around with the pain of knowing I had killed someone for more life. Who would do that other than someone with a cold heart. If you could do this without killing someone I might but probably not.
Still I would never ever ever kill someone...ever

Got a question: Do you reckon Professor Quirrel was another Horcrux Voldy never meant to make, like Harry was? A piece of his soul seemed to fly out of the pile of Quirrel Crumbs after Harry burned him. Reckon he was?
