~ Leader of W.I.T.C.H. and the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar, she moves to Heatherfield after leaving her hometown of Fallen Hills. Her powers include bringing electrical appliances to life, granting them distinct personalities and the ability to speak (A.K.A quitassance). Also the ability to shoot lightning/electricity out of her hands.

~ Will is a bit of a tomboy, but is also sensitive towards other people's feelings. She is a whiz at science and absolutely loves to swim, especially when Guardianship and school are stressing her out. Will also mentioned once that she likes to ride her bike. She loves animals in general, but she is especially crazy about frogs and tries to collect anything and everything frog related except for the actual amphibian itself. She also comes up with extremely good ideas in the face of danger, as shown when she allows Cedric to capture her and her friends to bring them to Taranee, and when she tricks Cedric into wearing the Crown of Light to defeat him. According to Matt's grandfather, she seems like a smart girl. She is also said to be allergic to nettles.

~ Irma's birthday is March 13, and her sign is Pisces. Her favorite school subject is geography.

~ Martin Tubbs has a crush on Irma and since the beginning he tried to get her attention and tried to flirt with her. Irma at first is not interested in him believing he is a dork and a nerd.

~ rma is a funky, cheerful, optimistic, and humorous person. Compared to the other members of W.I.T.C.H., she is the cockiest member of the team and she often appears to be the least serious as she is known to crack jokes about almost anyone she comes in contact with. Despite her tendency to joke around when faced with a problem, she is a kind-hearted person who cares about those she has relationships with. Her optimistic ways sometimes irritate the other members of W.I.T.C.H, especially Cornelia.

When necessary, she exhibits leadership qualities. Irma also almost always wants to be center stage and, depending on the person, can or can't hold grudges for long. She also has a big appetite.

~ Irma likes taking long baths and showers, shopping, rock music and making up nicknames. Her idol is Kamilla, a rock singer, but she's also a big fan of soccer player David Addams. Irma is crazy about boys and has had many different crushes,

~ Irma is a bit sassy and unpredictable. Irma seems to be the "Class Clown" of the group, and her best friend is Hay Lin, who shares her sense of humor. Her powers include intuition and manipulating water to do her bidding. Her latest power allows her to see visions in the water.

~ She may be shy and laid-back, but Taranee can be very determined when she sets her mind to a goal. Her powers include controlling fire at her will, producing heat waves, reading minds and being able to communicate with people telepathically.

~ She loves photography, basketball, dancing, and classical music, but hates bugs (especially spiders) except for butterflies, grasshoppers and crickets.

~ When people play with Taranee's feelings, or when she gets angry, her powers start up. Even Cedric once stated that her elemental power is the most indomitable of all five elements.

Corenilia Hale

~ She is a competitive ice-skater and has won numerous medals for her skills displayed in the sport. She has a cat named Napoleon, and a younger sister named Lillian who is somewhat of a pain in the neck. She has long blond hair and blue eyes and is the tallest Guardian. Cornelia's father is named Harold Hale and runs a very successful bank. Her mother is named Elizabeth Landon, and is very strict. Her favorite school subject is History, and she was born on May 10, making her a Taurus.

~ he eldest daughter of a wealthy family, popular Cornelia is a somewhat a materialistic person, who cared a lot about her looks and fashion.

~ Cornelia was annoyed that Will is the leader and not her as she was better at leading than following, but she told Will that she will support her and that she deserved to be a leader. Cornelia is also overconfident and thinks that she can do just about anything by herself. Still, she is deep down a considerate person who can be very romantic. She is not always the most positive person, but manages to get through obstacles with an attitude. She is also very firm and stubborn, and the least likely of the Guardians to accept or believe something, as was shown the very first time that she became a Guardian.

In the comic, Cornelia is calm and normally friendly. In the television series, she is more childish and spoiled. She can be quite vain and sarcastic, caring more about fashion, beauty, her popularity, and her looks in contrast to her comic book self, so much to the point that she sometimes even insults others because of their fashion sense and/or appearance. She still has a good heart, showing this kinder streak several times

~ She hates the fact that her parents spend more time with Lilian than with her.

Later on in the series, her mother tells her that her grandfather, whom she believed to be dead, is still alive.

When in her guardian form Cornelia grows taller and her hair longer.

~ Hay Lin (age 13) was born on June 4, thus bearing the sign of the Gemini, and was raised in the town of Heatherfield. She is feisty, confident, pretty and full of energy, and very optimistic and determined.

~ Hay Lin is something of a free spirit: she's absent-minded, but at the same time extremely creative, talented and insightful when it comes to people around her. She loves to draw, paint, and sketch. It is no surprise that her favorite subject in school is art. She has a sense of humor rivaling that of Irma's. She can be considered a slight comic-alien geek at heart because of her love to collect comics and alien collectables. She enjoys just about anything related to science fiction, air, or art. Her quirky style spills into dialect as well, with idiosyncratic expressions like "cosmic", "spacious" (in place of more mainstream options like "cool") and "weirdific". In the Spanish version of the comic, she often exclaimed: "Yap!" Hay Lin is not superb at Physical Education, as shown when she herself once says she shall need to get into shape after running.

~ Her family owns a Chinese restaurant called the Silver Dragon where she often works at to help her family out. She has a habit of writing people's names, dates, numbers and anything else that might come in handy on the back of her hand or arm so she does not forget anything important during one of her creative brainstorms. She has a huge crush on the new boy in town, Eric Lyndon, who likes her just as much. Hay Lin had her first kiss with Eric.
