Hi Geoff, I lived in British Columbia for many years. I have seen 40 days and 40 nights of rain more than once. However, there's no need for rain dancing and song on my account. :)

It's not my normal genre either, but I read it last year on a whim and loved it. Maybe the universe is subtly nudging me in the direction of Twilight...
