Geoff (G. Robbins) (merda constat variat altitudo) (snibborg) | 8204 comments Welcome Prudence. Yes, I know the song too, but am trying hard to suppress the urge that Patti has to sing out loud. After all, you wouldn't like rain for 40 days.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Is your singing that powerful Geoff?

message 203: by Prudence (new)

Prudence MacLeod (prudencemacleod) Hi Geoff, I lived in British Columbia for many years. I have seen 40 days and 40 nights of rain more than once. However, there's no need for rain dancing and song on my account. :)

message 204: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments I quite like the rain actually.

message 205: by Jess (new)

Jess Mountifield | 165 comments I like the rain if I'm curled up inside writing. It's a nice backdrop. Don't like it so much if I have to go out in it.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I don't like the rain much at all. I may be living in the wrong country...

message 207: by J.R. (new)

J.R. Barker | 69 comments I love to walk in the rain, then to come home, get dry and curl up with a (you guessed it) book.

@ Gingerlily, sorry I couldn't get the device ready for your bath time, goodreads has only just told me I was being spoken too. I shall have to send it to you for another bath time :)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Ok, tomorrow night? Or is that too early...? I'll have to look at my bath schedule for this week.

It's not my normal genre either, but I read it last year on a whim and loved it. Maybe the universe is subtly nudging me in the direction of Twilight...

Geoff (G. Robbins) (merda constat variat altitudo) (snibborg) | 8204 comments Good morning Roger and welcome. I hope you enjoy your new home.
