It's used the world over as an energy booster. Great for climbing mountains, scottish or otherwise.
Not I'm not a sales rep for kendal.

Eh that's my problem. plus the chocolate can sometimes upset my stomach.

They do. In Africa and India and other hot climates they add a chemical to the chocolate to make it not melt so easily. Unfortunately the chemical is a laxative.

You've been on this forum for two days? Wow, it's probably time to take a break. Maybe go fix yourself some food or something?

Certainly not for the diet conscious!

Friends who moved here from NI were horrified when they heard their small daughter had been offered a "tablet" in the playground - they thought that she had been offered a pill of some kind of drug. She was only 7, and they thought they'd moved somewhere dreadful. Much relief when they found out what tablet means here, despite the fact one of them is a dentist...

It's still delicious even when it goes wrong though.

I had no idea there was a Goodreads group for the UK Amazon forum until I came across a chance mention in another group. Reading back a few posts I see a few familiar names already (Ignite, Gingerlilly - hi!)
Any other bike riders here?

Ah, 1965, a good year if I remember correctly, which of course I do ;) I was going to be nice and lurk a bit before diving straight in on the author thread as it seems so rude, but if Gingerlily has asked then my shame is discounted.
We should drag Nightwing/Davie over as I'm reading his book atm.
