WordWeb is a one-click English thesaurus and dictionary for Windows that can look up words in almost any program. It works offline.
I have found Wordweb to be very helpful. A little icon sits in the tray at the bottom of my screen (along with all the other little icons). (I'm not sure what that tray is called.)
Whenever you need help with a word, you simply click on the icon. You don't have to go online to use it. It's free if you promise not to fly too much, as part of an environmental policy. I know that sounds strange, but that's how it works.
If you highlight a word in the text on your screen and then click on the icon, the word will already be in the wordweb window when you click on the icon.
Try it. You'll like it. Below is the link: ====> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://wordweb.info/free/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I think it would be great for students.
