B.L. Jones (bljonesbooks) | 161 comments When you fold over so many pages, and read the book so many times, in a book on your favourite parts that your book looks like you ran over it with a truck ;) xxx

Ursula the sea witch wrote: "wen u keep clear dusaseal and duct tape in your room and anually check al ur books for damage"

message 60: by Tiya (new)

Tiya Rosa (tiyarosa) when you confuse fictional characters as real people and your friends have to remind you that no, you won't run into Vishous when you visit Caldwell nor will you find Jericho Barrons or his bookstore in Ireland.

message 61: by Tiya (new)

Tiya Rosa (tiyarosa) Ursula the sea witch wrote: "lol! iv never done that but then no amazingly awsom characters live in NZ"

LOL. I had a friend who had her parents bring her on business trips all over the world 'cause she was looking for where Middle Earth might have been. She's still looking. :D

message 62: by Tiya (new)

Tiya Rosa (tiyarosa) oh right, LOTR was filmed in NZ. that's pretty awesome.

message 65: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte (bookofspells) When your teacher asks you not to read while the rest of the class are discussing football problems (blah...)
Also when you can't fall asleep, because all you can think about is this book you're reading. :D

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

haha thats me! football SUCKS!

message 67: by Luce (new)

Luce (lucenevertrustaduck) | 236 comments For me it's ...

1. when you start using book slang, and don't care none of your friends know what your saying
2. You memorize quotes and first chapters of your favorite books
3. Your birthday cake has the cover of CoA on it
4. You have lunch with the school librarian ocasionlly (she's like twenty)
5. You have a book release day calendar and know like fifty release dates
6. You read about two books a day
7. You have almost completed your goal of 100 books in five months
8. You have temper tantrums over books
9. You have a book cover/ book lists collages onto your wall

message 68: by [deleted user] (new)

Temper Tantrums when you cry and scream and throw everything everywhere
When your only crush are boys from books with the exception of Liam Hemsworth
You have book rants all the time
Your teacher has to tell you to stop dancing cause ALEX IS BACK!!!!!!!!!
Or you start weeping in the middle of a math lesson
You memorize all the quotes from your fave books and the endings and beginning's
After you finish a book read the last chapter over and over for a day or more
If someone tears a page on a book, FREAK OUT
When a movie comes out scream and start crying
Dress up on the days that a book comes out
Preorder books months before they come out
For your birthday you want Cardboard cut outs of gale and katniss in your room
Get all the movie posters

message 69: by Amy (new)

Amy Watt (amsies1390) You know you're addicted to books when:
1) As a child your mother let you read books by yourself because you always pointed out when she'd skipped parts
2) You get upset when a book doesn't end the way you want it to
3) You hate when you start a book, only to find out it's a series and the next one doesn't come out for another year
4) You wish your life was like a book sometimes
5) You wish that the heroes in the books were your boyfriends

message 70: by Mel (new)

Mel | 185 comments 1. You keep a special folder of pics on your iPad of various hot guys just so it's easier to picture whatever guy is in the book.

2. You walk into a bookstore and feel strangely at peace.

message 71: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha and you run your hands over the book covers and sigh. No more " What is the square blah blah blah!"

message 72: by ST (new)

ST (stjlm) OMG! This is like everyone here is describing me! I'm totally obsessed!

message 73: by Luce (last edited May 22, 2012 12:46PM) (new)

Luce (lucenevertrustaduck) | 236 comments You also know your obsessed when your parents tell you to slow down. I mean really, aren't parents supposed to ENCOURAGE reading! (well I haven't seen the kindle bill for this month so ...)

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha when my parents tell me to stop reading and play a game with the fam or to eat dinner. Or most frequent, "Slow down! Enjoy it!!"

message 75: by L (new)

L The stories that you read haunt your mind during the day, and you seem to be able to relate to the characters that you have read about in everyday life...books coming to 'life' odd thought!! x

OMG YEAAA
...
WHen your mom has to take away your current book in order to force you to spend time with the 'neglected' family.

message 79: by Margaret (new)

Margaret C. (MicPanda) | 3 comments O and when your going to drive up to someone who is 7 hrs away for 4 days, you have to bring fifteen 200-300 pg books that may or may not last so you bring your trusty kindle along just in case!

Oh, I do that too! My mom takes away my book all the time too! Grrrrr

Tammy ~Witching Hour Reads~ (03tammy-lynn) | 145 comments You can't go by a bookstore without stopping, even en-route to a wedding!
You can't go into a book store for just a moment, 2 hours later you leave with just one book!

message 82: by Maya (new)

Maya | 4 comments When you're to read list is endless.
When you feel like you're in heaven once you enter a book store. When you would rather have a book spree than a shopping clothes etc spree.

Becca (bucky0112) | 3 comments When you skip a class cause you're real close to finishing the book and NEED to know the ending right away.

When you feel buzzed out of your mind because that book you have been waiting for cough dying and threatening the author to get your hands on cough comes out early. xxx

When you do a mental dance around the huse when a new book is delivered, whilst lso maing inhuman sounds, a lot like sharp intakes of breath and low squealing xxx

that is 100% true.

message 87: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 88 comments You develop your schedule around book release dates. Like, your boyfriend says, "How about dinner on Friday?"
You: "I can't! I'll be waiting in line at the bookstore for the midnight release on Saturday!"
Him: "How about Sunday?"
You: "But I'll be READING the book then!"

You're hilarious! all that stuff applies to me too, except the checking out too many books! I spent the first three years of high school spending lunch in the library, so the librarians there love me, and let me do anything. even check out 20+ books over summer break.

Also, I now I'm addicted to books because at crucial points in books (i.e. fight scenes) my heart rate speeds up and I start hyperventilating.

Brandie (RoxxyReads) (roxxyreads) When you buy a book and can't wait to get home, open it up and the first thing you do is smell the new book :)

message 92: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea | 11 comments HAHAH. so true.

message 93: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea | 11 comments True, Sydney puts a lot of 'fun' science facts into her thoughts which then narrate the whole book, so yep. Ur homework is complete.

message 94: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 88 comments I'm going to try that! :P

When you talk about characters like they're real and when you are constantly on Goodreads updating your status.

TheOriginalNikeGirl Yup, I do that.

message 98: by Chelsea (new)
