URL from Amazon?

I have a question regarding the URL field for books. I know that it is not suppose to be used for e-commerce sites like Amazon or others.

So, if I find one and I can't find an official link (from author's page or publisher) do I simply erase it?

I found that someone added the amazon link for the kindle edition of Bloodfever. I can replace it with the link from the author's page (http://www.karenmoning.com/kmm/bloodf...), but if for some reason I couldn't find an official link, do I leave it or erase it??

what if the publisher's site IS an e-commerce site (they provide bookselling)? do we keep those or delete?

If the site includes additional info (book excerpt, etc.) then keep them. If the link is just there to sell books, I see no reason not to delete it.
