Does anyone have any good book recommendations on Edward I/Longshanks? Or Edward II and Isabella of France? Fiction or non-fiction are both ok :) thanks!

Yes, that's the one I'd have suggested as well.Mind you, she has an "out there" theory about Edward II that I don't buy; but it is interesting.
ETA: There's also the play Edward II, by Christopher Marlowe, a contemporary of Shakespeare's.
Oh! And you could also try The Three Edwards, by Thomas Costain. Highly readable non-fiction from the 50s.
