Jerry Halberstadt | 4 comments The Kindle edition and epub edition need to be combined so readers know both exist and can choose. Each ISBN is unique, the books are the same except for format. Cover illustration is good for both. Seems I am a librarian for some functions but not this one!

Ruth Donald (redonald) | 8 comments I have two ebook editions (Amazon & Smashwords) that are exactly the same except for the license notes. I have some Goodreads reviews but they don't show up on the Kobo listing because they are associated with the Amazon ASIN instead of the Smashwords ISBN. Is it possible to combine these editions so the Goodreads reviews show up on the Kobo listing?

Or any other solution?

They were combined in late December. Reviews should show up on both editions, but there may be a 24-48 hour caching delay.

Jerry Halberstadt | 4 comments Renske, thank you. Problem is that the data refers to the Kindle edition, including the Amazon product number. Thus, searching to buy elsewhere leads to a dead end, e.g., Google books:

Thus there needs to be a listing that includes the epub ISBN. How to accomplish that?

Jerry, if I use the edition with ISBN13 9781882431090 and click the Google Books link, it come up just fine.

That's why the book has two editions.

Jerry Halberstadt | 4 comments Rivka, I must be going blind, please help. The only listing on Goodreads I find is at:
There is a listing of the Kindle edition. There is a link to read the ebook, with option to buy.

How does one seek to buy the epub version elsewhere?

On the right side of that page, there is a link to Other Editions. Click on the cover of the other editions, and you'll get the other edition. Searching by its ISBN will pull it up as well.

Every user chooses their own booklinks. Users looking for ebooks are likely to have added the link to Sony Ebooks, or Kobo, or some of the various other ebooksellers to their list of links.
