Why isn't she staying involved in the screenplays for the next movies?

I couldn't find anything about this. Hopefully it's a rumor; I really think that when an author co-writes the screenplay for a movie it helps keep the movie true to the book. Right now there are soooo many rumors going around about the 2nd movie...who knows how much of it is true?

I think maybe Collins might be a consultant or might be co-screenwriter, but I think Beaufoy's the main writer.
I kinda suck at the "1 chapter a day" thing so I raced through the entire series in a week!AND loved every bit! :)

It's defiantly one of those books where as soon as you put one down, you MUST pick up the next installment. I loved the general idea as well as the characters. Everyone can find at least one person in the book that they can relate to in some way, which really makes this book great since the reader can actually see themselves in it. Great job.I know that a lot of people will reference the movie and my only opinion on that would be that the movie did a surprisingly well job at depicting the main ideas in the plot. Although a lot of the person moments (such as between Katniss and Peeta on the train) were removed, I think that it really gave an honest view of the story.

Though I did manage to get through the waiting for Harry Potter...

I just barely got through reading Harry Potter! & I feel you Nessa! As soon as I checked out the first and second book simultaneously when I first read this series and almost died when I had to wait 3 days to get the last book!
