any good books like the host i should read ?

The first thing I thought of was the airhead series. Which has nothing to do with aliens and is more of a chic series, but if your looking for the switching bodies element it is there.
Try 'Peeps', by Scott Westerfield. It's about a parasite that causes people to hate the things they love. The sequel is 'The Last Days'.
