Spread the Word Just Don't Say It

Sorry, but my parents would be mad if they checked my account and saw a whole lot of "vulgar" words. :P

We had a whole day assembly about the N word ((Nigger)) The F word ((Fag/Faggot)) And the R word ((Retard)). It was about..."
I already never say that about people because I know they are unkind words and I will never call them that!!
*Nods*
It's really annoying too. One or two of my classmates use those words frequently to describe a person they 'dislike'
I don't think they understand the aftermath of saying such a thing. E.g. How the person will feel when they find out.

There are other words too. Telling some one to go to hell are to f themselves.. It may not sound like much, but it still hurts.

They said just about EXACTLY that in the assembly.
But that wasn't the whole point either, even if you aren't calling someone the 'f' or 'r' word, what if a person with special needs, or someone else whose homosexual or a dark skinned person hears it? It still hurts no matter how someone says it or to who.
That's strong EJ.
But, I know most people always ask why they can't call you the N word if you do it with your friends. I can't understand it, but it's different. Although, I have never called anyone that.

Yes. Yes. There is usually a reason for a person to become a bully. Bullies and people snapping are different. Everyone at one point or another has snapped. It's just built up. It doesn't mean you are a bully. But the real bullies became bullies for a reason. There is always a reason. But Kyle is right. Bullies are the ones who messed up because they turned took advantage of their problems in a horrible way.
I know, I know. But at one point they made the decision to become a bully. They had a reason to become one, whatever that reason may be, but they still chose to become a bully. They didn't need to choose to.
Oh, they're no more messed up than the rest of us. I never said they were messed up. :) I totally understand what you're saying.
Wow. The only thing worst than backstabbers are front stabbers, they have the audacity to hit where you can see them.

Exactly. I never judge a 'bully' till I know the situation. I pity them. Though I haven't seen any accounts of bullying at my school yet.
I respect a person more if they can say it to my face...
They are cowards if they say it behind my back.
Either way though, my English teacher and I put it perfectly, "You do something comedic to cover up the pain you feel. You laugh to bear the pain. You smile so no one knows the hole in your soul."
^^^ That's how I usually feel. If it hurts, I laugh it off and pretend it doesn't.

I only allow certain people to get to know the real me completely. Everyone else just gets small pieces.
We had a whole day assembly about the N word ((Nigger)) The F word ((Fag/Faggot)) And the R word ((Retard)). It was about how those words are hurtful, rude and just shouldn't be said. The name of the campaign was
"Spread the Word. Just Don't Say It"
So I encourage you guys to do this. Our school was one of the first to start this campaign, apprarently it's a very sensitive topic, but hopefully it'll be across the US soon! In the meantime, take the pledge to Spread the word to end the word. =)
