To merge or not to merge

The book Stormriders by Roxanne Longstreet is the same book as Stormriders by Ian Hammel. Ian Hammel was a pseudonym used by Roxanne and three other authors in the Shadow World series.
Is there any way to create a link between these two books without changing the primary author on one of them?
Just to add a little confusion, the text in the Ian Hammell version has been condensed from what was in the Roxanne Longstreet version.

No. Whichever version was first should have that author listed as primary author on all editions. Then they can be combined (not merged).
