The Turn of the Screw by Henry James by Henry James

This thread is an introductory one for the B2M Club's Monthly Read of March 2012, The Turn of the Screw by Henry James . The book discussion starts officially on February 25th.

As there are 24 chapters in the book, I think we should separate the book in two parts, so the whole thread should have three topics (see – simplified this time ;-) as follows:
I - Part One (Chapters I-XII)
II - Part Two (Chapters XIII-XXIV)
III - The Adaptations.

Of course, it is not necessary to start reading the book immediately. Actually you do not have to read the book at all if you do not want to, if you are interested solely for the adaptations of the book – feel free to jump into any discussion anytime you wish.
