Not sure what you mean by "the ISBNs are the same" -- one is an ebook with an ISBN, and one is a Kindle edition with an ASIN.

Books can only be combined if they are both the full book (or the same partial). For example, Vol. 1 of 3 cannot be combined with a complete book that has the content of all three volumes together.
