Rdurie | 4 comments Hi I am very new to all this, so pardon me if this has been raised before. One of my favorite authors is the travel writer Jan (formerly James) Morris. There are separate author profiles under both names with titles appearing under both. Is it possible to merge the profiles? If so, is that the right thing to do? And could books listed under one or other of the names be pointed to the combined profile? thanks, Rob

Kim | 604 comments No they should be kept separate, the same as pseudonyms. The profile for James Morris already included a link to Jan Morris and I've updated Jan Morris to do the same to James Morris.

Books should be edited with the name on the cover being the primary author and if rereleased under the authors new name the new name should be the secondary author.
