“Hold on…” She said, making a bubble out of water and putting a part of it over each wound, the healing process speeding up on all of them.
He groaned again as the cold water touched him. He allowed himself to fall sideways and close his eyes. Slapping Yoru felt great. Unfortunately, he knew his father would keep his promise.
She made sure that he didn’t hit the ground too hard. “Is that girl that was here your niece? The one from the picture?”
He nodded slowly. “They…” He didn’t go on. It hurt to speak.
Syria frowned again, how do I get him home?
He coughed, blood dripped out of the corner of his mouth like a tear. He felt pathetic, weak and stupid. Here he was, lying in front of Syria, the woman who told him that she loved him, and he couldn’t even get up.
She took his hand and held onto it gently, worried out of her mind. Jace looked very pale. “Think you’d be able to keep some blood down? It will speed up the healing process to the point where you’ll be able to walk…I think…”
“If you mean feed and not puke, then I believe so…” He said quietly. It was slightly jumbled together, as he tried not to move much.
She nodded. “Yeah.” She said and put her neck down by his mouth.

He opened his bloody mouth a little, only just enough to bite into her and not dribble anywhere…not that it mattered much. He drank a little at a time, pausing to swallow.
She tilted her head to the side, opening up the blood flow.
At one point, he closed his eyes and falling asleep, his head lolled to the side, his fangs came out of her vein.
Her eyes widened and she fumbled to find a pulse. It was still there. She sighed. “Thank God…”
He breathed softly and then let out a heavy exhale. His boobed chest rose and fell under the dress that had been torn up. Most of the extensions had come out and his makeup was almost gone.
She frowned as she looked at him, but was glad that he was semi-okay. Her gaze softened.
After a few minutes, blue appeared from under his eyelids. He made a small groan and looked at Syria.
She hovered over him, looking to make sure he was okay.
He reached up to touch her cheek, but realized that his hand was covered in blood and didn’t. “Syria…” He managed.
She smiled at him. “Jace…”

“Take me to the car…” He said, putting his hand up weakly to support him. It splashed in a puddle of crimson red blood.
She nodded and gently helped him up.
He cringed when his legs hit the floor, but could walk on the other one. He put an arm around her shoulders so he wouldn’t fall sideways. “I’m sorry that you have to see me like this…” He muttered.
She shook her head. “I’m just glad that you’re alive Jace…” She said, moving slowly to the door of the main room.
He limped heavily, but made it along with her.
She concentrated on not falling over as she walked. Opening the door to the outside, semi-warm air blew into the deserted halls.
Jace looked at his car. “M…MY CAR!” He yelled. It was dented brutally, the hood was popped, engine gone and the tires were slashed and two were missing. “I HAD THAT FULLY PAID OFF!”
“Oh man…” Syria frowned. “I’m sorry…”
He looked pissed to the point he had to close his eyes, but he sighed and put his hands up in surrender. “Let’s grab my things and just call a carriage.”
She nodded and took him over to the battered car. She felt really bad about it, the way the car looked and all.
She nodded and gently helped him up.

He grabbed his wallet and the pictures he had. “Alright. At least it’s old…” he said quietly.
“Are you kidding? It looks brand new….or at least it did…”
“I don’t get out much…” He said.
“I see…” She kept him steady. “Sorry about your car…”
“No, it’s fine. Carriages are okay.” He kissed her cheek, then wiped the blood, that he had gotten on her from his mouth, off.
She smiled, “Alright.” She looked at him worriedly. “…Are you sure you can be up like this? Once we get home, I’m going to tend your wounds and then you’re going to rest.” She told him, stating a fact.
“That works for me.” He said, putting his fingers into his lips and blowing out a cracked whistle. A horse drawn carriage came around the corner. He looked strangely at Jace. “Down main please.” He didn’t bother to pretend to be a girl.
The Carriage driver looked confused. “..Uh…Yes…”
“I’m a man.” Jace said, not amused.
Syria giggled.
He got into the carriage carefully. Jace lay down on the seat resting.
She came up and sat down, sitting across from him.

He looked over at her, wiped his hand off and held it out to her.
She smiled and took it.
He smiled and wrapped his fingers around hers, closing his eyes and sighing contently.
“Starting to feel a bit better?” She asked quietly.
“A bit. Thanks for letting me feed. I regained circulation in my legs and chest. And my nap was nice as well.” He murmured, his eyes still closed.
She smiled and leaned over, kissing him on the lips softly.
He pulled her onto him, kissing her back. “I don’t think we’ll be able to do anything tonight, but maybe this will work just as well.”
“But you’re hurt Jace…” She gave a small pout.
“I know. That’s why I just want you to lie on my chest and kiss me.”
She smiled. “That I can do for you,” She said and kissed him.
He kissed her back, unpinned her hair and let it fall gently over her shoulders.
She smiled into the kiss.
“You look so….appetizing in men’s clothes.” He murmured. He could’ve eaten her if he had been hungry enough.
She smiled and took it.

She grinned, “Well they are your clothes and you are pretty delicious yourself, so…”
“How would you know I’m delicious?” He asked. “…Oh yeah…Our little feeding episode…” (( (‘^ ^) ))
She smiled. “Well, there’s that and other things. You are definitely the greatest looking guy I’ve ever seen.”
“I’d say, ‘Why thank you, my dear,’ but I look like my father and I take no pride in that…” He said quietly.
She frowned at him. “I don’t see it.”
“Seriously? I look absolutely nothing like my mom.”
She smiled and gave him an Eskimo kiss. “You do look different from your dad, babe. You just don’t see it…Your hair is a lighter brown and you are a bit shorter, but still tall enough to be a skyscraper compared to me. You have much tanner skin and…and you still look way better.” She said, knowing that the last reason wasn’t valid, but she didn’t care. (( :3 ))
He smiled. “I like the last reason…” He teased. “But I suppose my hair is a bit lighter. It’s not completely black…” He looked at her through his ice blue eyes. “There’s something about you, and I have no clue what is is…but it makes me feel…Free, I guess…”
She smiled, “And that’s a good thing right?”

“Yes.” He wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her shoulder.
She smiled softly and held him close. “Love you, Jace.”
“But I love you more.” He felt the carriage come to a stop and got up.
Syria did the same. She smiled at him.
He carefully opened the door and stepped out. He stood still a moment, staring at the unfamiliar car parked in his driveway.
She blinked and looked over his shoulder. “What’s up?”
Jace studied the car, paid the carriage driver and pulled one of his black guns from his ankle. “I don’t know who’s in my house…”
She frowned. “Does this happen a lot?"
“No…” He limped up to the door, holding the gun. “Come here and open the door from hiding behind the wall.”
Before Syria could move, the door opened, revealing Xedrix, a male vampire who was an underling of Jace. “Sup- Whoa…..Did somebody like try to kill you or something…?”
“X-XED?!” Jace stuttered, startled by the appearance of his friend. “Y-yeah…How the hell did you get into my house?!”
She smiled softly and held him close. “Love you, Jace.”

He held up the key to the house. “You forgot to take it back the last time you made me watch it.” He looked over Jace’s shoulder and saw Syria, “Hey.” Syria gave him a small wave.
“Oh…Well, why are you here exactly?” Jace asked.
A voice came from behind Xedrix. “Who is it Babe?”
Jace seemed alert, and put down the gun. “No…” He muttered. “Kindly move.”
Xedrix stepped out of the way. “This is why.”
Mary stood. She gasped. “Jace!”
Jace blinked and his jaw dropped. “M…I’m going crazy.” He muttered. “I’m going to wake up and be lying on my couch.” He told himself.
Mary giggled. “Nope, I’m here.”
Jace pulled her into a hug. “My god, I thought you were dead…”
“No, dad just drove me away. He took Lil though.”
“Oh…Well, why are you here exactly?” Jace asked.

“No, dad just drove me away. He took Lil though.”
“Yeah…that explains why I am practically dead. She has great aim…”
Syria blinked and walked inside. She didn’t really know what was going on.
Xedrix watched her walk in and smiled.
“Oh, Kaiya!” Mary slipped away from Jace and hugged Syria. “I missed you! How have you been?”
Jace cleared his throat. “Mary…This….this isn’t Kaiya.”
Mary pulled away, studied Syria and then turned to Jace. “Are you cheating on Kaiya?!”
“Mary…Kaiya…She died…”
Mary opened her mouth but said nothing, a few tears ran down her face. “How long have I been gone?”
“About 150 years.” Mary dropped to her knees.
Jace looked at Syria. “This is my sister.” He mouthed.
Syria blinked, “Really…?” She mouthed back.
He nodded, leaning down by the blonde. “Mary…?” He asked cautiously. “Are you okay?”
“…………So…Kai’s…dead…?”
Jace was quiet. “Yes…Dad killed her. He also gave me the illusion that he killed you and Lilli as well…”
Mary opened her mouth but said nothing, a few tears ran down her face. “How long have I been gone?”

“I’m sorry…”
“It’s not your fault. You know how he is.”
Syria stayed where she was. She didn’t really know what to do.
Xedrix walked over to help comfort Mary.
Jace looked at Mary and sighed, standing. He took Syria’s hand gently. “It’s been a rough night for the both of us. Please go put some pajamas on as I catch Mary up.”
She nodded. “Alright.” She said and walked into the bedroom to change.
Jace took Mary and sat her down on the couch, filling her and Xedrix in on the recent and past events.
Syria changed into some comfortable pajamas and walked out of the bedroom.

Xedrix listened carefully to what Jace was saying.
Mary had a hand over her mouth as Jace finished. “So her name’s Syria?”
Jace nodded, then his eyes flickered up to Syria. He gave her a fanged smile. “Hey, babe. You look comfy.”
Mary looked over at Syria. “Um, I’m sorry, let me introduce myself…I’m Mary, Jace’s sister. This is Xedrix, my boyfriend.”
Syria smiled at them. “I’m Syria Darkflower. Nice to meet you both.” She said, sticking her hand out in a friendly manner.
Xedrix smiled and shook her hand first. “Nice to meet you too, Syria.”
Mary shook her hand as well. She smiled sadly. “I’m…sorry for calling you Kaiya earlier…you look so much like her.”
Mary had a hand over her mouth as Jace finished. “So her name’s Syria?”
Jace nodded, then his eyes flickered up to Syria. He gave her a fanged smile. “Hey, babe. You look comfy.”

“She acts like her too” (( (^ ^) )) Jace said, smiling at Syria, patting the seat next to him on the couch.
Syria smiled and sat down next to him. “So I’m told. It’s okay, it’s not like it bothers me or anything. I actually find it kinda odd that I act and look like someone you guys knew before as Kaiya...when that’s my middle name.”
“Really?” Jace blinked. “Kai’s was Syria…” He was quiet, wrapping an arm loosely around her waist, thinking.
Mary smiled, “Well we didn’t mean to intrude.” She turned to Xedrix. “We should probably go home now.”
“Did you move?”
“Yeah, we’re not far.”
“Alright.” Jace said.
Xedrix smiled. “Yeah, we’ll be seeing you around then.”
Syria was pondering why Kaiya had her first name.
Mary got up and followed the blonde Vampire.
“Bye…” Jace said. He was dazed in thought.
Syria snapped out of her thoughts and smiled at Mary and Xedrix.
Xedrix smiled back and looked at Mary. “You ready?”
Syria smiled and sat down next to him. “So I’m told. It’s okay, it’s not like it bothers me or anything. I actually find it kinda odd that I act and look like someone you guys knew before as Kaiya...when that’s my middle name.”

“Yes,” She looked at Syria. “It was very nice to meet you.” She messed up Jace’s hair. “And I’m glad to see you again.”
Jace looked up at her. “It was amazing to see that you were alive this whole time.”
Mary laughed and took Xedrix’s hand.
Xed squeezed it gently. “Let’s go. Later boss.” He gave a lazy salute.
Syria smiled. “It was nice to meet you both.”
“Xed! Don’t call me boss.” Jace barked. Mary giggled.
He laughed, “Sorry, sorry. It won’t happen again….wait….lying is bad.” Syria smiled at them.
Jace looked up at her. “It was amazing to see that you were alive this whole time.”

“Watch out, I might fire you.” Jace Teased. “Nah, you’re a good assassin, like a ninja.”
“Oh, yeah. I’m a stealthy Bish (( x3 ))” He grinned. “ And you, boss, are one sexy beast.” He laughed.
“Pfft, in this dress, hell yeah. I got myself some pretty big tits too. He took the exercise balls out and held them up. “These are my keys to disguise.” He smiled.
“You’re pretty hot yourself Xedrix.”
Mary snapped. “Uh, nu-uh, Xed’s my bitch.”

Jace gave an amused smile. “You can have him. Cause I sure as hell don’t.” His arms tightened around Syria’s waist, holding her close.
Xedrix laughed loudly. “Nice boss, really nice.” Syria giggled a bit.
“It’s a wonder why I’m boss.” He said, leaning back on the on the couch.
Mary looked at Xed. “Let’s go out to eat~” She suggested. “Bye Syria, bye Jace.”
She smiled. “Good bye you two~” Xedrix smiled and opened the door for Mary. “C’mon.”
Mary followed him out. Jace looked at Syria after they left. “Help me take off the dress?” He asked.
She nodded, standing up and helping him take off the dress.
Xedrix laughed loudly. “Nice boss, really nice.” Syria giggled a bit.

She nodded, standing up and helping him take off the dress.
He stood as well, lifting his arms carefully, as not to disturb the wound on his chest by stretching it.
She took the dress off carefully, not disturbing the wound.
He was dressed in a suit underneath. The once black suit was stained red now.
She frowned. “You’re going to need to take this off too…”
Jace sighed and took off his coat, waist coat and then his shirt and pants. Finally he took off his shoes.
“Alright, so I’m going to fix those damn wounds but you really need to lay still okay?”
“Alright.” He murmured, lying down on the couch.
She smiled and knelt down next to him. “Going to be a bit painful unless I numb it with something. You got anything in that magic medicine cabinet of yours?”

“Yeah, it’s called, ‘I’m a tough boy and can suck it up’”
She rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Alright.” She said and began working on getting the bullets out.
He cringed a little when her hands started on the chest wound, and felt a little grossed out when she had to dig for the bullet. “Would you like me to do it?” He asked in a mutter.
She shook her head. “You just need to stay still.”
Jace sighed and was quiet as he watched her remove the bullets.
It took about ten minutes to remove both and then she started to bandage the wounds after cleaning them.
Jace picked up one of the bloody bullets and looked at it, turning it in his hand.
“You going to keep it?” She asked as she bandaged his leg.
She rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Alright.” She said and began working on getting the bullets out.

“Maybe. Just to prove I’ve gotten shot before.” He said. “It’s not fun, I highly do not suggest you try it.
She gave Jace a droll stare. “No really.” She said in a sarcastic manner.
He cracked a smile. “Am I blowing your mind yet?” He asked. Jace patted his newly cleaned chest as a sign for her to lay down.
She smiled and snuggled on top of him. “You did that the day we met.”
“Really?” He cocked his head slightly. “I don’t remember.” He wrapped his arms around her waist. “I do remember screwing you, but due to my injuries I don’t think we can do that tonight.”

Syria shook her head. “Not really, you might reopen the wounds.”
“I wouldn’t mind if it was for that.” He smiled and kissed her forehead.
“But you need to heal~” She said.
“I know, that’s why I’m not pinning you to the couch right now.”
Syria smiled. “And I’m glad that you are giving yourself time to heal.” She thought for a minute. “You want anything to eat really quick? I mean food wise.”
“Yeah, sure.” He said. “I can’t guarantee that I can get up and make something though.”
“I wouldn’t mind if it was for that.” He smiled and kissed her forehead.

She shook her head. “I can do it, you just stay here. I know how to cook using a stove.” (( (^ ^) ))
“Using a stove?” He asked cautiously.
“I worked as a cook for a while~ But lost the job due to the manager being a criminal.”
“Did he happen to be assassinated?” He asked with a questioned look.
“He was pretty bad, but I don’t know…All I know was that he was arrested, had escaped and then he disappeared…”
“Did he have a weird mustache?” Jace asked, shifting a bit under her.
She nodded, “Yeah, he had one that was all like…” She made a twirling motion with her fingers on either side of her face.
“Yeah…” Jace said. “Sorry, I may have gotten you unemployed…”
She shrugged, “That’s okay. Everyone hated him anyway…And he always would go after any of the female patrons and employees. He was a terrible person.”
“Well, I kill terrible people.”
“I know~”
He kissed her forehead and brushed her hair back. “What’s on the menu?”
“I dunno, what do you want?”
“I don’t know either. I guess whatever you feel like cooking.” He kissed her gently.
She kissed him back and then pulled back as she got up. “Alright. I’ll go find something to make.” She said and turned around to head into the kitchen.
“Syria~” He called from the couch in a singsong voice.

“What is it~?” She called back with a smile.
“I love you~”
Syria smiled softly. “I love you too~” She said and walked into the kitchen.
Jace smiled and pulled a blanked over himself.
Syria looked through the cabinets, and then the fridge for something to make. She finally chose to make something simple. Waffles. She took out the mix and put it on the counter, then grabbed a bowl and spoon to mix the batter with. She also got out the other ingredients.
“Whatcha making babe?” He asked.
“I love you~”

“Waffles~” She said.
“Oh Fuck Yeah!” Jace said.
Syria’s laughter could be heard. “I take it that waffles are a good choice?”
“Oh hell yeah baby.”
She laughed again. “Okay, I’ll be done cooking in about 20 minutes.” She said, starting to mix the batter together.
“Booyah~!”
20 minutes later she brought out a small plate of waffles and set it on the glass table in front of Jace. “There you go~” She smiled. “I’m going to clean up the cooking ‘mess’ and then I’ll be back out.”
“Mess?” Jace asked, taking the waffles and taking a bite.
“It’s not really a mess, it’s just cleaning up the pan and putting what was left over away.”
“Oh Fuck Yeah!” Jace said.

“Okay then.” Jace said, quickly finishing his waffles.
She smiled and walked back to the kitchen to clean up the rest of the waffles.
Jace put the plate on the table then settled into the couch, closing his eyes.
Syria walked out of the kitchen a while later, after she had finished cleaning up.
Jace had almost dozed off. He opened a lazy eye and patted his chest.
She rolled her eyes and lay down on top of him carefully.
He cringed when she had lain down on the gun wound. But held her close.
She smiled and closed her eyes once she got comfortable.

His eyes were already closed as he drifted off after kissing her forehead.
She slowly drifted to sleep…after turning the light off.
Jace woke gently the next morning. He stretched a little, his wounds had healed for the most part.
Syria had fallen off of him in her sleep and had ended up sleeping on the ground for most of the night.
Jace looked over with a light smile, putting a gentle hand on the top of her head.
Her eyes blinked open. “What the…?”
“Seems you rolled off of me.” He said with a small laugh.
“Oh…” She yawned and sat up.
He sighed contently. “Will you help me up?” He asked.
Syria smiled and stood up, holding her hands out for him.
He took them and got up easily, taking her hands and wrapping them around his waist and pulling her close.

She blushed lightly, looking up at him with a small smile.
He took her face in his palms and leaned down, kissing her.
Syria kissed him back, smiling.
He pulled back and twirled her around.
She giggled, “I’m guessing that you’re feeling better?”
“Very much so.” He smiled. Jace made his way over to the kitchen, he still had a slight limp, but was in good spirit.
Syria followed him into the kitchen.
“What do you want for breakfast, My Love?” He asked.
“Huh….I’m not too sure…”
He laughed. “How’s bacon, eggs and pancakes sound?”
She smiled, “Sounds good.” (( (^ ^) ))
“Alright, will you grab the bacon and eggs?” He asked, getting out a pan.
She nodded and got what he asked for.
He thanked her with a kiss.
She kissed him back gently.

She smiled up at him.
He gave her an Eskimo kiss.
She giggled softly, smiling. “So what do you think we should do today?”
“Well I’m feeling better….so I know what we’re doing tonight~” (( (^ ^) ))
Syria blushed lightly. She knew too.
He smirked and nuzzled her neck.
She smiled at him, happy that he was okay. “So how’s about we make the breakfast and then go do something for the time we have during Waking hours, no?”
“Like what?” He asked as he dumped an ass load of bacon in the pan.
She almost started laughing. “That is a ridiculous amount of bacon there babe…” She said, raising an eyebrow. “And I’m not sure. We should go out or something.”
“Are you suggesting that we go on a date?” He asked. “And there’s nothing wrong with my bacon love.”
She laughed. “Okay, okay. And yeah…that is what I am suggesting.”
“Then that works…Just don’t judge me for my love of meat.”
“I’m not~” She said with a smile
“Good, because these.” He gestured to his abs. “Don’t come from protein shake or whatever.”
She laughed. “I know that~” She looked at him. “I think I’m going to sit outside the door and draw a little, just so you don’t burn the house down while being distracted.” She said.

“Okay…” He bit his lip. “Be careful outside…”
She rolled her eyes and kissed him on the cheek. “I’m just going to be on the porch.”
“I know…I’m just a bit paranoid.” He said with a gentle smile.
She smiled back. “If you get too worried, I’m just right outside.” She said and grabbed a couple of papers, a pencil and a hard surface to draw on, then went outside.
“Okay.” He said, cooking the bacon.
She shut the door behind her and sat on the steps.
Jace thought about going and checking on her, but it was too soon and knew that he’d look too over protective.
Syria smiled as she drew a couple of the glowing Dark Flowers and the Ghost Flowers as well.
Jace finished making breakfast before opening the door to get her. “Breakfast is done, babe.” He said gently.
She smiled at him over her shoulder. “Okay~” She said and got up , turning around to face him.
He smiled and held the door open for her.
Syria walked inside. “Told you it’s be okay~”

“Good, you better~” He teased. He had a plateful of bacon.
She made no comment about how much bacon he had and started eating the pancakes. “These are good~”
She made no comment about how much bacon he had and started eating the pancakes. “These are good~”
“Yeah, Dad taught me before he went crazy Loco.”
“I see.” She smiled.
He nodded, starting on hid third bacon strip.
Syria continued to eat her pancakes, soon finishing.
By the time she had finished, Jace had already eaten the whole plate of bacon.
“Holy…you went through that fast…” She said in disbelief.
He smiled. “And now I’m going to drink a gallon of chocolate milk.” He got up and headed to the fridge.
She rolled her eyes, “Okay~ I’m going to go take a shower~” She said, heading out of the kitchen.
“Alright~ Have fun getting wet.” He said, raising the jug to his lips before quickly putting it down. “I…………Didn’t mean it that way…” He said, blushing a little.
She laughed. “I’ll be out in a bit~”
“Okay. Don’t get too wet. Cause I know when you look at me it’s hard to control.” He said in a sexy voice. He took a sip of milk but started to laugh and ended up spitting it out in the sink.
“Real hot Jace!” She said as she shut the bathroom door. Syria proceeded to undress.
After he stopped laughing, he drank the rest of the chocolate milk.
She turned the water on, waited for it to warm up and got in. She washed herself and her hair and then was soon out in about 10 minutes.
Jace was lying on the couch, face down. He was starting to regret drinking that second gallon.
Syria walked out of the bedroom after putting on clothes. “Well, isn’t this a sorry sight?” She said with a smile. “Too much food?”
“Chocolate milk overdose……”
She laughed. “Smooth.”
“Uhg…..my stomach…..”
“Please don’t throw up…” She said, taking a step back.
“I’m not going to throw up.” He said.
“Sure.” She said sarcastically.
“I’m not. I might be a bit dizzy though.”
She shook her head. “You need to get better at managing these things.” She smiled.
“Shush…” He got up slowly.
She still had the smile on her face as she walked over to him. “So... Are we going anywhere today?”
“Uh…Maybe Xed and Mary could come over if you want. But If I don’t get a call from my boss then I’m free for the day.”
“I was meaning if you wanted to go out.” She said with a smile. “But Xedrix and Mary can come too.”
“Oh, well if you wanna go out then we can.” He said. “I’m not eating anything though. I’m kind of full at the moment.”
“Don’t worry~ We don’t have to eat. I just want to look around for a while.”
“Alright, so like a walk?”
She nodded, “Sort of, yeah.” Syria smiled. “Better bring some protection though~”
“I always have guns and Knives on me.” He said blinking. “You know…in case I run into Yoru…”
“Oh, right…I’ll bring my bow too though.”
“Will it fit.” He asked. “Or are you going to just carry it on your back?”
“I carry it on my back.”
“Oh, you’ve seen where I like to keep my guns. Let me go grab them and my knife.” He went to the bedroom and grabbed them, the knife was on a small chain around his neck, hidden beneath his shirt.
She smiled at him. “Ready to go?”
“Of course my love.” He said with a smile, opening the door for her. “And I am happy to say I’m not wearing my heels, so I’ll be able to walk on my own.”
She laughed. “That. Is my line.”
He laughed and took her hand in his. “So, where to?”
She smiled. “I dunno, there’s the new forest that they found over by the Moonlit Lake. I think it is called the Whispered Forest. They say that not a lot goes on in there.”
“Alright, Whispered Forest, tallyho~” He said.
She smiled walked outside with him.
“I see.” She smiled.

She smiled walked outside with him.
He swung their arms lightly as they walked.
Syria looked ahead as they walked through the darkness of the Waking hours. The streetlamps were barely visible as is, but anyone of the natural earthly inhabitants were accustomed to such darkness and they walked with ease along the road towards the Whispered Forest.
Jace looked at the newer forest. As he looked around, he felt his phone vibrate and picked it up. “Hey boss…Really? That’s convenient…I’m in the same area………………...Taking my girlfriend for a walk… Of course she knows I’m an assassin. What does it matter…Yes sir.” He said, closing his phone with an absolute zero smile.
Syria smiled. “Got another job, babe?” She asked. “That happens to be conveniently placed here in the forest?”
“Yes, my dear. And it seems…” He took out his gun, “That it wasn’t one of my brighter Ideas to tell you that I’m an assassin.”
“How so?” She asked, tilting her head to the side.
“Something about blowing my cover.” He took the black scarf out from under his shirt, wrapping it around his neck and mouth. “Do you know why I wear this?” He asked.
“To hide your face and protect yourself from noxious gasses?”
“Halfway. These criminals have the dirtiest blood I’ve ever tasted. The shit’s nastier than hell.”
“Um….gross much?”
“Yes…But where the hell did you get noxious gasses from?”
“Um…well I thought other assassins might try to use poisons or immobilizing gasses…so I just assumed it.”
“Poisons, yes. If they’re in a small, confined space, gasses sometimes.”
“I see, Well, I’m going to go hang out at the lake while you find you…’charge’ and destroy the target. There are no monsters over there.”
“Alright. I’m off to kill people.” He entered the woods.
Syria made her way to the lake fairly easily, it was a straight shot through the Forest to get there.
Jace had already spotted the man. He was tall, and dressed in dark clothing. Jace was quiet, until he stepped on a twig and snapped it, then the man started to run. Jace pursued him as they ran straight for the lake. In the process of trying to get away from Jace and his firing gun, he knocked Syria hard over the head.
Syria fell to the ground with an audible thud, going unconscious.
Jace stopped for a moment to hoist her up and shoot at the man, hitting his shoulder. He shot again and the man fell, and Jace knew he had hit his leg.
Syria didn’t move, although she was breathing.
Jace walked up to the man, who was trying to crawl away. He stepped on the man’s back and aimed the gun to right about where his heart would be. Jace shot and then the man ceased breathing. He took out his phone and dialed the undertaker. After the undertaker took the body. Jace sat under a tree, looking over the lake. He had lain Syria’s head in his lap.
It was about 20 minutes until Syria came to. She blinked a couple of times, as if she were trying to grasp the situation.
Jace smiled. “Morning Syria~ Have a good nap?”
Syria looked a bit confused when he said her name. “…?”
He furrowed his brow. “What’s wrong…?”
Syria was silent for a few moments, looking at her hands, and acting a bit strange. After a little bit, she spoke. “…I’m okay…” She said, her voice was different somehow.
Jace fell still. He knew this voice, it was all too familiar. “K…No…there’s no way…I’m just going crazy.” He laughed weirdly at himself. “There’s no way Kai could be alive. She died nearly a century ago…”
Syria face palmed herself. “Excuse me, Jace……but…I died?”
Jace sat there with his mouth open, staring at her. “K…Kaiya?!”

“What are you so surprised about?! It’s like I died and came back to life…………………oh…I did…didn’t I…?” She said as if she was starting to remember things.
In an instant Jace had her pressed to his own lips, holding her close. “My god, Kaiya.” He said, tears running down his cheeks rapidly. “Please don’t be mad about me dating Syria. I know we were engaged, but seeing as you d…died, I couldn’t really marry you.” He babbled.
Kaiya’s eyes misted. “I understand…I really do Jace. I’m not mad about you moving on from me. I just…I just wanted to spend more time with you!” She cried. “I…I just can’t imagine…that your father would have so much hate toward us…that he would do such a thing!” She buried her face in his shoulder, sobbing. She didn’t even want to start speaking about the twins, had they only been able to have been in her for 2 days longer, two short days! They would have lived, and Jace wouldn’t had been so lonely all those years.
“I know, my Love. I know.” He held Kaiya close. “But please explain to me,” He lifted her chin gently. “How…how are you in Syria’s body…?”
“I…I…I’m not sure…” She said, looking up at him with tears glistening in her eyes.
Jace kissed her forehead lightly before a sly smile slowly crossed his face. “Hmm…say my dear, do you think that if we have sex now, it would be you who would be able to feel it?”
She rolled her eyes. “No…seeing as I can’t feel anything at the moment…and…that would be like cheating on Syria…you know?” She said carefully.
His smile turned into a frown. “Oh…so when I kissed ‘you’ earlier, I was really only kissing the knocked out Syria…?” He seemed quite disappointed.
“No…I felt that…But I cannot feel anything like touch…” She poked his nose. “Like I couldn’t feel that.”
He smiled sadly and pulled her onto his lap, brushing her hair behind her ear. “I miss you so much, Kai…” He said softly.
“I miss you too…” She looked up at him.
Jace sighed and kissed her eye. “I have pictures all over the house of you and me…And I refuse to take them down. Even if Syria is with me.”
“You do? Has she ever asked you to take them down?” She asked.
“No. She acts so much like you…sometimes I had wondered if you were related…” He smiled. “But it seems that you were just the same person.”
She furrowed her brows. “Well damn, I’ve heard of ‘soul sisters’ but this is ridiculous!”
Jace laughed. “Really? I find it nice. To have both girls that I’m madly in love with rolled into one?...Well, that kind of made that sound bad, but you know what I mean.”

She laughed as well. “I do.”
He nuzzled her neck. “Good~ Because I love you both to the ends of this damned dark Earth.”
Kaiya smiled. “I love you too, and I’m sure that Syria does too.”
He smiled back softly. “The kids…Are- Can you-?” He asked, cocking his head to the side a little.
She gave him a gentle smile. “They’re fine, but sad that they didn’t get to know you for long. And in truth, they’ve actually agreed to be reborn.”
He blinked. “So…you gave birth after you died…?” He asked.
“The EMTs took me to the hospital and delivered them…but they were so small and unable to live on their own…I’m so sorry, Jace…” She said, looking at the ground.
He gave a half-assed smile, trying not to look crushed inside. “It’s not your fault. It was my damned father’s. Why does he have to be such a jackass, psycho lunatic…?” He muttered.
“I don’t know. But keep Syria safe, alright?”
“I promise.” He said. “Of course, she is going to birth our twins.” He kissed her lightly.
She smiled. “True.” But they won’t be ‘ours’ they will be yours and hers. And not for a while…Rebirths take time…and I’m due for mine…
He kissed her again. “Please don’t leave…”
“I don’t know if I can stay…and if I did, you wouldn’t be able to see Syria…”
“I know. Just stay with her.”
“I’ll try.” She gave him a gentle smile. “I’m sure that I can…” Looking up at the sky, she closed her eyes as the wind started to blow gently.
He smiled sadly at her. “I’m going to miss you…”
“I’ll be around~” She smiled at him again. “I promise.”
“Alright. I love you so much, Kaiya…”
She kissed him on the lips gently. “You too…” She said, resting her head on his shoulder.
He held her close and his chest fell with the irregular pattern of his tears. He didn’t want to lose Kaiya again.
Her head shifted on his chest and she blinked her eyes a couple of times. “…What’s wrong, Jace?” She asked, it was Syria’s voice this time.
He smiled at her sadly. “Nothing…” He murmured, kissing her forehead.
She looked up at his face. “You’ve been crying…?”
“Uh…” He wiped his eyes. “Jus…Happy…”
She raised an eyebrow. “About me getting whacked over the head? That’s cruel.”
“No, of course not.” He said. “It’s a long story…” He said and then started to explain to her what had happened.
At first, she looked completely confused.
“So, that’s why I’m crying.” He said, finishing.
“Oh my gosh…my head feels like it’s about to explode…… Information overload.” She said, trying to figure everything else out. “So what you’re saying…is that Kaiya and I share a soul or whatever…? …………And I believe you too…”
He smiled gently. “That’s exactly what I’m saying.”
“Oh…I’m still a bit confused, but I’ll get used to it.”
“Oh yeah…I forgot…You’re going to be birthing my twins.”
Syria’s eyes went wide. Then she blushed lightly, biting her bottom lip.
“Just letting you know.” He nuzzled her gently. “And I’m not completely sure if you’re technically going to be the mother…You might just birth them…”
“It’ll be fine.” Came a voice that only Syria could hear at the moment. She blinked and looked around. “Umm…did you hear that?” She asked Jace.
“No, why?”
“Cause I swear on my sanity that someone else was talking to me…”
He nuzzled her neck. “Good~ Because I love you both to the ends of this damned dark Earth.”
Kaiya smiled. “I love you too, and I’m sure that Syria does too.”

He smiled. “Was that voice in your head higher than yours?”
She nodded slightly. “Yes, but only a little bit…I think.”
He smiled. “Meet Kaiya.”
“Seriously? Cool!”
Kaiya’s light laughter could be heard by the both of them now. “I think I’m getting the hang of this…sort of.”
Jace smiled warmly. “So~ You’ll be able to talk to us both, my dear? Or other Dear?”
Syria and Kaiya both laughed.
“Well, I have both of you and I’m engaged to one, but the other one’s actually alive, so I don’t know which one is technically the ‘other woman!’” He held his hands up in surrender.
Syria rolled her eyes. “You’re so strange.”
“Indeed.”
“Oh, I’m not the two that are in Love with me.” He said. “Even though I do find myself very attractive.”
“You are so full of yourself sometimes, you know that?” Kaiya said, teasing.
“True that.”
“Yes, and I’m glad that you both know that.” He smiled and kissed Syria. “Half of that was for Kai~” He informed.
Syria smiled.
“I don’t need to be doted on~ I enjoy watching the two of you, it’s cute~”
“No, but then I feel bad, because I love you too…” Jace said, looking like an innocent child, big eyes and everything.
Kaiya and Syria both sighed. “Fine…”
Jace gave them his goofy smile.
Syria smiled back. “So should we walk around a bit more?”
“I won’t be walking~”
“Show off…”
“So…do you like…..float around or are you in Syria’s body…?” Jace asked Kaiya.
“I’m not sure…” She said.
He laughed and got up, stretching a bit. “So a little walk and then go eat something?” He asked. “The chocolate milk wore off.”
“Jace…” Kaiya said in a low tone. “What did you do…?”
He smiled. “Well I didn’t dink another two gallons of chocolate milk this morning. And I certainly didn’t do it the morning after I got shot twice again.”
“Hey!” Syria said as her spirit was shoved out of her body and was replaced by Kaiya’s. “You did what now?”
He gave a sheepish smile. “Ehehehehe…..” Then bolted away, knowing that a painful slap was coming to him.
“He’s done this before???” Syria asked, laughing.
“Yeah, and he knows what is coming to him too.” She grinned.
Jace looked back for a split second, and then tripped over a tree root next. He scrambled to his feet, but was already too late.
Kaiya pulled a flying tackle on him, sending him to the ground again. “Do you not remember what happened last time you did that?!”
“Don’t hit me!” He laughed, trying to curl up into a ball. “I’m so innocent!”
“Yeah Right!!!” She laughed, pinning him to the ground. “I won’t hit you, but you sure as hell aren’t innocent, right Syria?”
“Hell no~”
Jace gasped. “Syria, you traitor!” He smirked. “Well then what are you going to do to me?”
Kaiya laughed. “Not me. Syria~?”
“Yes?”
“Trade places~” She said with a grin.
“God.” Jace said. “Well, I don’t want Kai to see anything.” He stuck his tongue out a bit. “It could get Kinky~”
Syria laughed after she returned to her mortal shell, grinning at Jace. “Oh I’m sure she’ll be fine~”
“I’m not doing this out here!” He said to Syria.
Syria stuck her tongue out at him. “Never said we were going too. Besides, it’s too cold anyways.” She kissed him gently and got off of him, then waited for him to get up.
“He never did that with me either. And If it’s cold…I wouldn’t recommend it~”
“I have my reasons! That one time my dad jumped me in the woods.” He shuddered. “And that’s why I’ll do it on the couch, not outside.”
“Still haven’t tried the bed yet?” Kaiya asked, sounding disappointed, but she understood why, just not why so long.
Syria took his hand and helped him up.
“No, you know I have a fear of beds….maybe someday.”
She nodded slightly. “Yes, but only a little bit…I think.”
He smiled. “Meet Kaiya.”

“You’ve had a whole century to do that, what the heck?”
He got up, taking Syria’s hand.
Syria smiled at him.
“Gee, go ahead and ignore the voice. The voice has no feelings.” Kaiya teased in a silly and sarcastic manner.
Jace seemed shocked. “No, well I-!” His cheeks grew red in embarrassment.
Kaiya laughed. “I was talking about the answer I didn’t get, but okay…”
Syria giggled.
“Oh, well, what did you ask?” He questioned.
“You have a whole century to try it, and you still haven’t.”
“Nyeh. I haven’t done it in a century besides like, three days ago.” Jace argued like a little kid, sticking his tongue out in Kaiya’s direction.
Syria rolled her eyes.
“Goofy as always. Now let’s head home already.”
Syria nodded, “I think that would be for the best.”
“Pfft, I know what you want, Missy.” Jace poked Syria’s nose. “And I don’t know if you want to watch, but you’re not going to.” He told Kaiya.
“Pfft, fine, ruin my fun.”
He got up, taking Syria’s hand.
Syria smiled at him.

“Wow. I didn’t know that you were such a perv~” Jace said, flashing a signature smile, showing his fangs. “Wasn’t sure that you wanted to see all of me that badly.”
Kaiya laughed again. “What can I say? You’ve rubbed off on me.” She was quiet for a moment. “But! Given the fact that if I did grab some popcorn and sit down to watch that poor Syria’s face might be permanently stained the color red; I won’t do it.”
“You can’t even eat popcorn. It would go right through you.” Jace said, ignoring the part where she had said that he rubbed off on her. “I don’t think you can even pick stuff up.”
A rock hit the back of Jace’s head. “Is that so?”
He whimpered and held the back of his head where the rock had hit him. “Ow….Kai that really hurt….”
“Thus my point is proved.”
“Guys…its cold… Can we leave now?”
“As soon as Kaiya apologizes for hitting me with a rock.”
“Okay, fine, I’m sorry…Can we not have Syria freeze to death?”
“T-that would be very m-much appreciated…” She said, shivering a bit.
Kaiya laughed again. “What can I say? You’ve rubbed off on me.” She was quiet for a moment. “But! Given the fact that if I did grab some popcorn and sit down to watch that poor Syria’s face might be permanently stained the color red; I won’t do it.”

Jace brought Syria close. “Sorry Syria…” He said, kissing her temple. “I don’t want you to freeze…” He said, taking off his long and fuzzy coat and wrapping it around her, staring to walk.
She walked with him, his coat keeping her warm. “Thank you.” She said, looking up at him.
He nodded with a small smile. “Hey Kaiya?” He announced. “Jealous yet?” He gave her a trolling smile.
“Perfectly fine thank you~”
Syria blinked.
Jace laughed. “Fine, you must be Jealous that I can have sex with Syria then. Eat that!”
“I am, but I can eventually ask.”
“Pfft. You told me that you wouldn’t be able to feel it.”
“As I said before, I’m getting better at managing my…condition if you would call it that.” Kaiya said.
“Heh, condition. More like…” Jace searched for the word. “Yeah, condition sounds about right…”
“Told you so.” She said.
“Oh, shush. I know that I’m always wrong. You don’t need to rub it in.”
She walked with him, his coat keeping her warm. “Thank you.” She said, looking up at him.

“I know, just wanted to do it anyways.”
“That’s mean, Kaiya…” Syria said.
“Eh, I find it amusing~”
Jace gave a droll stare to the both of them. “You two. Jeez, bring me down much.”
Syria held her hands up in surrender. “I’m innocent this time~” She said with a smile.
“Yep~ that one was all me~” Kaiya said laughing.
“Yeah, this time. Next time Syria’s going to be picking on me and Kai’ll be defending me.” Jace said.
“Mm…I dunno…”
“Oh you shush.” Jace hissed, opening the door to the house.
Syria walked in and her face flushed pink from the warmth. “Ah…much better~” She said with a smile.
Jace smiled and took off his blood-covered scarf.
Syria sniffed the air. “You’re bleeding?” She asked, turning to look at him.
“Eh, guy got me in the neck.” He said, inspecting it in the bathroom mirror. Sure enough there was a small incision where the blade had probably touched Jace.
“That’s mean, Kaiya…” Syria said.

Syria’s voice drifted in from the front room. “I need a tissue~” She said as she walked in, holding her nose shut.
“Bloody nose?” Jace asked, handing her one.
“Yes~” She said, taking it from him. “Apparently…” She applied it to her face. “Apparently, after I got hit in the head, I got a bloody nose…and then since it is so cold outside…it froze and now it has defrosted…”
“Ow.” Jace said, getting a small rubbing alcohol square out of a drawer. “This is going to hurt like a Mother Fucker…” Jace warned himself.
“You want me to do it babe?” Syria asked with a smile.
“No, I got it…” Jace said, touching the square to the cut, making an extremely pained face. “Yeah, you do it…” He handed her the square.
She took the small medicinal pad and applied it gently to the wound. In her other had she still held the tissue to her nose.
Jace gripped the counter, his eyes crossing in pain.
“It can’t be that bad…” She said looking at him over his shoulder.
“It stings…Like Acid…” Jace managed. ((O___e))
“I’m sorry Baby…” She frowned. “But it needs to be cleaned…” ((^^;))
Jace nodded. “I know…I don’t want it infected…”

Syria smiled as she finished up. “Alright, done.” Her nosebleed had stopped as well.
“That hurt…” Jace rubbed his neck gently.
Syria stood up on her toes and kissed it. “I’m sorry…”
Jace smiled and kissed her nose gently.
She blushed lightly, smiling up at him.
He smiled back. “Glad my house has a great heater.”
“Me too…” She said, still smiling at him.
“Do I really have to try the bed?” He asked.
“Yes~” Kaiya stated.
“Myeeeeeeehhh…I really don’t want to…” Jace complained.
“Do it.” Kaiya threatened. “Or I’ll take Syria away~”
Jace froze. “…You wouldn’t…You can’t…”
Kaiya popped into Syria’s body for a moment. “Just in case you don’t quite remember that I can do this~”
“Hey……”
“I knew you could do that, I thought that you meant like, make her disappear…”
“That hurt…” Jace rubbed his neck gently.

“I knew you could do that, I thought that you meant like, make her disappear…”
She frowned. “What are you crazy? I’m not that mean, and no, I can’t do that.”
“A, Yeah, pretty sure I qualify as crazy. B, I’m sure if you got angry enough, maybe. And C, didn’t think so.”
Syria managed to get back in her body when Kaiya wasn’t paying attention, but in truth, Kai let her in after smiling at Jace. “Maybe.” Kaiya said.
“Ha! I’m back~”
“I let you~”
“Aw…”
“Ha, she caught you off guard Kaiya.” He said with a goofy smile.
“I let her go back in, so it’s okay.” She argued.
Syria blinked. “I think Kaiya’s telling the truth.”
“I know. I like to tease her~” Jace said.
“Well~ I’m going to ‘disappear’ for a little while~ you two can take your time~”
Syria blushed heavily, sort of embarrassed because Kaiya had said it so plainly.
Jace rolled his eyes at Kaiya’s comment. “She of all people should know. I don’t take my time.”

Syria glanced over at Jace, still blushing from Kaiya’s comment. “Has she no shame…?”
“Nah. She probably lost that the day she met me.”
Syria laughed. “You’re terrible.”
“I know.” Jace said. “Isn’t it grand?”
She smiled and stood up taller to kiss him on the lips. “I know that.” She said.
Jace chuckled and picked her up. “You’re so short.”
She frowned. “I’m not short, just petite”
“Nah, you’re short.” Jace teased.
“That’s not funny.”((>3>)) She said, looking up at him. Darn it he’s right…. ((T~T))
“It is and you know it.” Jace teased again.
Syria shut him up with a kiss.
Jace kissed her back with a smile.
She smiled into the kiss as she put her arms around Jace’s neck.
“But seriously, why not the Couch?” He asked.
Syria smiled slightly. “It’ll be easier on your part if you just try it babe.”
“Nah. She probably lost that the day she met me.”
Syria laughed. “You’re terrible.”
“I know.” Jace said. “Isn’t it grand?”
She smiled and stood up taller to kiss him on the lips. “I know that.” She said.
Jace chuckled and picked her up. “You’re so short.”
She frowned. “I’m not short, just petite”
“Nah, you’re short.” Jace teased.

“I really don’t want to…” Jace whined.
“Please Jace?” She asked with a slight pout.
“Nyeh…fine.” Jace gave. “If I don’t, then you two will be hounding me about it for who knows how long…’
“Yay.” Syria said with a smile.
Jace laughed. “Jeez, why do I even have a bed if I don’t even use it…?” He asked himself.
“I dunno.” Syria said.
“I guess I gotta use it now don’t I?”
“That is a fact~” She said. “But don’t worry, you won’t be using it alone.”
“Nah, you know, I just have sex with myself all the time.” He rolled his eyes. “I promise. I’m not that shallow.”
She laughed at that. “Please move your feet, we’re not going anywhere fast just standing here~”
Jace chuckled and walked to the bedroom.
Syria smiled and leaned her head against Jace’s chest as he walked.
He sat her on the bed, standing over the edge…not getting on.
Syria blinked. “…?”
“Please Jace?” She asked with a slight pout.

Syria blinked. “…?”
Jace was shoved from behind, sending him toppling down on top of Syria. She blushed as she heard Kaiya say, “You’re such a sissy Jace!”
“I don’t like the Bed…” Jace whined. “And I’m not a sissy, have you seen what I do for a living?!”
“You’re not on the bed, you’re on me Jace.” Syria stated.
“Still, you’re on the bed and I’m going to her to touch the bed to get you undressed…”
“Grow up or I’ll watch~” Kaiya said laughing.
Syria blushed. “I’d rather you not do that…”
“I couldn’t care either way, you’d get jealous~” Jace said, in reality he did not want Kaiya to watch.
“I know that you are lying Jace.”
“How do you know~?”
“Because I know you.”
“I don’t like the Bed…” Jace whined. “And I’m not a sissy, have you seen what I do for a living?!”

The brunette walked over, the gun firmly pointed at Jace. “This isn’t my brother.” It’s my uncle. I thought you went into hiding like the little pussy you are.”
Jace made no sound. He was trying to keep Syria under the table using his Telekinetic powers, so he concentrated on her.
Syria clutched the two swords in her hands tightly. Jace wouldn’t let her up though.
“Now Lil, put your gun down. I need Jacey alive.” He kneeled down and kissed Jace’s cheek. Jace openly slapper Yoru with a bloody hand.
Yoru firmly took his chin. “That will not go unpunished, young man. But we must go now.”
They both disappeared and Jace broke his concentration, letting his head hit the floor in his puddle of blood.
Syria immediately ran over to him, frightened for his life. “Jace!” She called.
“Just…” He cringed. “Just…take me home…” He managed. Jace coughed a little and groaned when he saw a little blood coming out of his mouth.
