'They died of consumption,' said Locke."

I found chapter 8 funny. After Rodanov and Jean are trading Lucarno quotes and Rodanov leaves.

There was no conversation at the table for several mintues, until Rask suddenly cleared his throat and spoke in a low, gravelly voice.

"I saw a play once," he said. "It had this dog that bit a guy in the balls-"

Loved that part. I really like this book.
