I am currently reading The Reef by Nora Roberts.
Wouldn't say it's a young adult book, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm just over halfway done. =]

I really don't want to read The Death Cure but I already bought it and it will bother me if I don't finish the series so I'm just going to suffer through it. I heard it's a little better than Scorch Trials anyway. I'm just excited to get it over with so I can read Never Fade and then start on Daughter of Smoke and Bone!

message 4515: by Rae (new)

Rae King (abookishgirl4) | 92 comments Yeah Lindsay if I had bought it then I'd have to read it too, I bout the while ugly series and after the first two I didn't want to finish but I will eventually! I'm so excited to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone!!

I just finished that book on Saturday. I like that its a fun book to read, and just makes you feel good.

I don't know what happened but all of John Green's other books gets more depressing.

I know right! Well, Paper Towns wasn't that sad… But the ending wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be.

I read that series… It gets worse, but it gets better in the end. You know, in like the last couple of chapters. In which, everything will go in a downward spiral and you will cry.

message 4521: by Chris (last edited May 28, 2014 02:57PM) (new)

Chris W | 49 comments @Fangirlingbooknerd Yeah the Paper Towns ending wasn't sad. But it wasn't exactly happy also.

I have yet to read The fault in our stars but I read Looking for Alaska first, and then Paper Towns, and then An Abundance of Katherines. I wonder what would have happened if you read them the other way around.

message 4522: by Chris (new)

Chris W | 49 comments Lol, hey Emma, name change?

Have you read anything by Rainbow Rowell? Those are good.

Also City of Heavenly Fire just came out. I'm currently reading that.

And The Infernal Devices is also on my to read list. I'll probably read that before The Fault in Our Stars.

message 4523: by Emma (last edited May 28, 2014 06:13PM) (new)

Emma (fangirlingbooknerd) | 15 comments Name change, because it sounded better. I kept getting emails that Chris and other normal names commented and I realized my name probably sounded really weird…

I have read Fangirl, and am on the waiting list at the library for Eleanor and Park. It'll probably be a while until I read her new one *cries*

I read The Infernal Devices AND LOVED IT, so when I got to The Mortal Instruments I had high expectations and was overall disappointed with the series. I probably will finish the series because of a spoiler I read… and that spoiler would make the whole series worth it.

And I would read TFIOS first, because the movie will be out soon!
