I'm reading Seraphina and loving it so far. The world is well-developed, the writing is beautiful, and the story is so interesting. I'm hoping for some sort of Seraphina/Prince Lucian love affair - he's only in his 20s, right?

Currently reading Ill have to admit I'm a little bored with the series I think. The first half of Eragon was rather boring. Eldest was very good but even so, I had a problem starting Brisingr. Maybe because most reviews say it was boring and too drawn out. Sadly I can see that happening and I'm only on page 80

I honestly do think that the romance is necessary. It gives the readers a way to connect with her. Without the romance there would be little to no emotion in the book and probably no where near as successful.
