Donka Aleksandrova (donka_aleksandrova) I read Legend recently and wasn't that impressed by it. I think I had my expectations set too hight. I much more prefer Razorland series by Ann Aguirre. At the moment I'm reading Howl's Moving Castle :)

I loved that book! And if you can find the movie, then do watch it. This is a terrible thing to say BUT i think the movie might be even better than the book

I have to admit, I did watch the movie before I read the book and... I like the movie more than the book. The book is great too, don't get me wrong, but they are very different and no one can compete with Miyazaki's imagination and flair. I have seen the movie about 10 time by now probably (guilty pleasure).

message 3932: by Marybeth (new)

Marybeth (narutofan14) I have now finished the distance between us and the year of secret assignments. Now I am more than halfway through the first Vampire Academy book.i just got this yesterday. I also have Frostbite but I don't think that my library to has the third one at school so I will probably have to get it from the library when I go home. The only reason that I picked this book up was because I got the bloodlines books and I apparently have to read those or I will be totally lost( or so said from a friend of mine). I will have to try this series again.

Your friend is right- it wouldn't be that bad but it's better to read the VA series first. The Vampire Academy series is great though (I think so at least) and the movie just came out. Hope you like it!

message 3934: by Marybeth (new)

Marybeth (narutofan14) That's good. I can't wait to see the movie. I might have to wait till it gets on DVD though. I am loving it so far. I have the second one so I can it start it.
