message 3896: by Marie (new)

Marie | 58 comments So far this month I've read:

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West . Good but not amazing. The main character annoyed be and the whole thing felt like deja-vu.
Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry To be honest, for the first 200 pages I wasn't sure I was liking it but the end moved so much that I ended up loving it.
The Madman's Daughter (The Madman's Daughter, #1) by Megan Shepherd It's been a while since I've loved a book this much. And the last 100 pages were just incredible.
Unite Me (Shatter Me, #1.5, #2.5) by Tahereh Mafi Quite good.
It Felt Like A Kiss by Sarra Manning Quite good but a little too Sophie Kinsela ish for me. I prefer Sarra's first two adult books, Unsticky and You don't have to say you love me.
Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi Reread. I liked it better than the first one.
Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi Reread. I also liked it a lot more than when I read it the first time.
Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3) by Tahereh Mafi That was a joke right? This is not the real book. This is not the ''big finale'' of this pretty great series. Honestly, I don't remember when the last book of a series dissapointed me so much. And not only did it dissapoint me but it also made me quite ''angry'' and to be honest, I feel a little cheated by the author for so many reasons (thay you find in my review, but review is not the right word...I guess rant is the right word.
Alienated (Alienated, #1) by Melissa Landers Good but very forgettable. Also the main character sounded a lot younger than she was supposed to be.

I'm now reading The Trap (The Hunt, #3) by Andrew Fukuda and I was scared that nothing exciting could happen after the first two books but I think the first 30 pages of the books are the most exciting and intense first pages of a book I've ever read.
