I would recommend Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins if you haven't read it yet. I love it.

I'm reading, Beautiful Creatures and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I'm moving slowly with HP, just because I wasn't in the mood for a reread when my book club assigned it, and I'm really not enjoying Beautiful Creatures as much as I'd hoped. :(

I just started it and I think it's great. I'm about 150 pages in and it just yanks you in, punches you in the face, puts a bandaid on your heart, then mindf***s you. It definitely messes with your head, but in a way that makes you want to know what happens next. I really hope it keeps it up. :D

Now that I've finished the book, I can see why her personality is necessary to the plot. I'm going to read Shadow Kiss. It till be interesting to see if Rose regresses. I must admit that the series is becoming a bit addictive.

For me, it the book didn't get any better, but I did finish it. I won't be reading the sequel, though. But plenty of people liked the book, so it's all a matter of taste.
