What are you currently reading?
I'm definitely excited to read it. It seems like everyone else has already read it, but I don't know anyone that hasn't totally loved it.
I'm reading unbreakable that's unraveling 2 by Elizabeth Norris. I loved book one. Is book 2 disappointing?
Currently reading The Statistical Probability of Love at First sight. Seems like it's gonna be a sweet read.
Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets, Mockingjay, and Beautiful Creatures. All rereads except for Beautiful Creatures.

Hey all, I'm not reading anything at the moment : ( I can't find anything at the local shops that I haven't read and want too. I don't have an e-reader so it would have to be paper or hard back too.Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions. My favourites are the paranormal themed books, vampires, witches, mythology etc.... Anything new coming out? I haven't had much luck on my searches and the goodreads recommendations haven't brought anything up yet.
I'de appreciate any suggestions please?
I've just finished this one: The Graveyard Book which is about a boy who lives in a graveyard - its really funny and easy to read. Or The Passage, but it's not really a YA. Really thick though and is a 3 parter (this is the first in the trilogy) so it will keep you going for a while :)
I share your pain. I'm short of reading material too but at least i have a kindle!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.I'm a fool for the way this author writes. Stuff like "The plane was still leaking from both it's lungs."Great book so far. ;)

Hey, Danger, does Sherlock read like the films or is it not so fluent? I'm reading The Fault In our Stars but I might read something else.

Anna Karenina is such a good book! One of my favorites and I get excited when someone else reads it. It's hard not to feel passionately in some way or another toward the characters.
I know! the size of the book was intimidating for me at first but its not at all bothering me now as its such a beautifully written book. The characters are so alive.
I had the same problem, I remember wanting to read it, but it was such a dense book which was definitely intimidating. I think Tolstoy wrote some of the most realistic characters I have ever read. Loving the book, I felt a bit defensive watching the recent "Anna Karenina." However, there is one thing I give to that film's credit, Jude Law pretty much played the perfect Alexei. Usually, in other movies I've seen, they play him so cold and mean and cruel, a big misinterpretation of the written character in my opinion. If you finish the book and still love, I recommend seeing that movie at least for the sake of Jude Law's Alexei, if you haven't seen it already.
No, I haven't seen it but I am planning to watch it and now that you've told me Jude law is in it I am definitely going to watch it. I adore Jude law! I am about to finish the book and its lovely! :)
