I am actually reading a adult fiction right now called, Black Notice by Patricia Cornwell, I like to read Young Adults too but that isn't what I am currently reading at the moment.

Okay, I'll give you that--Mockingjay is hopelessly depressing but still a good book! As for a cheerful read, hmm I'm not sure what to give you, most of the teen books these days are pretty dark.

And I'm reading "Before I Fall" currently and it is amazing. I love it. I'm also in the middle of "Fire" (the sequel to Graceling)

I just wrote a post about Mockingjay, actually, (http://shelversanon.blogspot.com/2012...), but you want something happy... Okay, to be honest, when I want a pick-me-up, I disappear into a Dilbert or Foxtrot collection.

Me too! (For Before I Fall, anyways). Fire is really, really good, so I hope you like it as much as I did.
Just finished "Practical Magic." I enjoyed the book, and I think Alice Hoffman writes great magical realism novels, but I have to say--I enjoyed the movie more. Am I the only one?

I read The Knife of Never Letting Go.
I, unlike the tons of people who rave about it, did not like it.

How can you not like them? They are amazing!!
What didn't you like about it?

In my opinion,I didn't like it.I also felt had mixed thoughts on If I Stay but the sequel was just wasn't for me.It's told from Adam's perspective and well I got kind of bored of listening to him rant on about his career and his broken heart....Hope you have better luck with it

I just finished the book The Mephisto Covenant: The Redemption of Ajax and it was surprisingly intriguing. Should give it a read guys!
"Beastly" by Alex Flinn and I've been so disappointed by it. The supposed "teen talk" is killing it. I love the concept though so I'm hoping I'll be won over by the end!

Rachel wrote: "Divergent is amazing! I am reading The Alchemyst- one of my students suggested it because he loves the series and wanted to have a teacher read it so I did."I loved Divergent! I can't wait for the sequel to come out.

I just finished the Clockwork Prince a week or so ago too. I'm not a die-hard Clare fan like some are, but I do enjoy them. I was told to start with the ID series before I start MI, which most people seem to like better.
I like ID better than MI.I guess Cassandra Clare did a pretty good job on this one.I liked MI instruments but I loved ID.Give 'Where She Went' a chance.Maybe just maybe you might have a different opinion because for this one I am in the minority.
I'm reading Magyk by Angie Sage, a magical childrens book. I'm taking it slow with this one,I'm still not even a quarter through and it's very magical!

was recommended to me by a few people but haven't had time to sit and read lately but I'm getting through it!

I forget if I already posted this (sorry if I did) but I'm reading "Fire" by Kristin Cashore(the sequel to Graceling) and "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare.

      Just started

. I'm a little confused by the release date of this book because its not supposed to come out until April 3rd but I bought it at Barnes and Noble and when I went online it asked me if I wanted to pre-order it...

Just started "Blood of Destiny" book #6 in the Witch Fairy Series by Bonnie Lamer! So excited, one of the best series i've ever read. :)

Finished frozen by robin wasserman but I didn't care much for it. I'm hoping to start reading either divergent or the scorch trials tomorrow. Or maybe one of the other thousand books on my to read list. :)

I'm reading Inheritance by Christopher Paolini, Song of Fire and Ice by George Martin, and Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. I think I have reader's ADD. I can't focus on just one book. :)

Song and Fire was a long read Lindsey. I'm planning on book 2 later on this year. I need to catch up on some of my YA reads and another kindler intruduced me to

. Supposed to be fun fast reads.

Yay! My Amazon.com orders arrived today. After "City of Bones", I'm planning to start "Thirteen Reasons Why". I'm so excited!

My White Cat, Red Glove, and Black Heart orders came today! Now I just need to finish Grace Mercy before I can start White Cat!
