April | 236 comments I am currently reading Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth Then I can read Insurgent and then purchase and read Allegiant!! :) I'm also reading Thirst No. 1 The Last Vampire, Black Blood, and Red Dice (Thirst, #1) by Christopher Pike City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare (Though for me City of Bones is at a slow paced part- I'm in the middle and I'm hoping it'll pick up soon)

Cindy Hale (cindyrayhale) | 10 comments I just finished Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis it was one of the best books I've read in a while. I highly recommend it. Lots of danger, twists, and surprises.

Now I'm reading Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer It's hard to get into for the first few chapters because it introduces a new setting and a new cast of characters. I'm just getting to the point where Cinder is back in the story and it's picking up again.

The next two after Delirium are good, but not as good as the first one. I agree with Matched. It was great, but I couldn't even finish book two.

message 3306: by Emilia (new)

Emilia (doctorherondale) | 186 comments @Cindy: I loved both Scarlet and Across the Universe. I cant wait to read Cress!!! However, I haven't read the second book for Across the Universe. Is it as good as the first?

I agree with everyone about Matched. It started off good but just went down from the there. I am disappointed since the idea was really interesting.

I am reading Allegiant by the way :D

Beatrice (blueviolin7) | 17 comments There are lot, Kyle, especially for TMI's similarities to HP and Clare's writing style. I didn't mind either, I liked them. Though many people hate them as well. The Infernal Devices were more original and well writte, though: I loved the trilogy!

message 3348: by Sabrina (new)

Sabrina (sabrina_paul) | 27 comments I'm about halfway through A Dark Road by Amanda Lance. It's an interesting story so far, but there are so many odd typos and punctuation errors. I don't know if these are intentional for some reason, if it's just my copy, or if there wasn't a proper editor. Either way, it's extremely distracting and annoying.

message 3349: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (blueviolin7) | 17 comments Oh, I hate typos! I understand you. Now I'm reading 'the cuckoo calling', the new book by j.k. Rowling :) pretty good by now!
