Samantha | 37 comments I'm reading Monsters of Men, so far it is absolutely AMAZING!!

message 2861: by Marie (new)

Marie | 58 comments Today, I finished both Truly, Madly, Deadly by Hannah Jayne and I really enjoyed it but it also had a lot of flaws (a lot of clichés and stuffs). I also finished The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1) by Kady Cross and I liked it but I think I wasn't in the mood to enjoy this kind of book. Also, in the first chapters, I loved the main character and by the end I had a lot of issues with her so I was dissapointed by that. And it felt a little more ''corny'' at times that I expected.

I'm going camping for a few days and I'm bringing I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter and Nightshade (Nightshade, #1) by Andrea Cremer . Also I'm bringing my ipad and I have a lot of books on it so we'll see what I pick up ;)

message 2862: by Preethi (new)

Really?? Can't argue with you there. But I still love Jace. LOL. Oh. If you liked TMI, you'll also love TID. :)

Really? The only thing keeping me back is my penny pinching ways, that and I don't want to be disappointed. But I'll take the risk :)

message 2871: by Allye (new)

Allye I don't know anyone that's read it that hasn't enjoyed it :) you could always get it from your library if you don't want to spend the money

message 2872: by Estephanie (new)

Estephanie (estephaniearlette) | 8 comments Currently reading Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth and enjoying it so far, I definitely like it so far but it isn't pulling me in as much as I would like. I can't decide whether or not I want to put it down or keep reading.

I'm about 40% done with the book, which is quite a bit considering I started today.

Another book I'm about to start is The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken I can't decide on finishing divergent or starting Ruby's story!?!?!

I too was disappointed with City of Fallen Angels : ( City of Lost souls wasn't as bad, but still not up to snuff with the original Mortal Instruments trilogy in my opinion. I'm hoping for a phenomenal finale in City of Heavenly Fire.

message 2894: by Lu (new)

Lu Gualdieri (lugualdieri) I'm reading La Pasión Según Trelew by Tomás Eloy Martínez for college (not actually loving it, but is interesting), and Wildefire (Wildefire, #1) by Karsten Knight for me (seems pretty cool, but I haven't read much yet)
