Jezz wrote: "On the Come Up by Angie Thomas"Have you read The Hate You Give? I just bought it and will start reading it soon. Haven´t read any contemporary in a long while so really excited to start with this one.
Zoha wrote: "The Handmaid's Tale"I just finished that for my English class, if you can you should definitely look into the analysis of it.
Rebekka wrote: "Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe"That brings back memories. Will you be posting review after reading it?
Dragonflight It's not a bad story and there is decent world building but I wish the characters were a little more flushed out. It's like each character represents one trait. Like one is defiant another is stubborn and nothing more. I'm a character driven reader so I hope they start to evolve.

Woah! We never got to read such books for our English class and once I'm done I'll look into it's analysis for sure
Miracle wrote: "Cinder by Marissa Meyer"That's cool! I really enjoyed reading The Lunar Chronicles and all I can say is that you're in for one hell of a ride.
I am reading the first book in A Game Of Thrones. I have been wanting to watch the tv show but decided that I should just read the books because the books are always better 🤷🏼♀️

I was lucky that I got the Professor I did. We are reading Funhome now as well. He enjoys controversial books and topics.
Just finished Illuminae. I liked most of it, but I had some problems with it. I talk about it more in my review video here (https://youtu.be/73OweEy-yVg), but I had issues with the beginning mis-establishing the tone of the novel and with the end (which I save for the spoiler segment of my review). Other than that, it's a really solid science fiction YA space novel.
Just started Dangerous Creatures by Kami Garcia. Only a few chapters in but it’s interesting so far.
Has anyone read Vampire Academy and The Covenant series by JLA? I heard they are similar and don’t know which to read first.
Heather wrote: "The Cruel Prince by Holly Black"I just got this one from the library. How are you finding it?
