I'm reading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.
It's really great so far. Almost finished with it actually. I am just confused on how a certain relationship in the book is supposed to pan out. I mean HE PUT A COLLAR ON HER.
I am ready to love this relationship, but like how does Bardugo redeem that??

I like the way Leigh Bardugo portrays magic. More believable than wand waving I guess

Hi everyone! This is my first time on here. My name is Ella and I'm a senior in high school. I LOVE young adult fiction but I have to be honest - I am quite picky when it comes to what a good series is. I often find myself growing bored in the sequel or a little later on in the series. Does anyone else feel like that? I just wanted to share with you a series that I have just finished. and OH. MY. GOD. I have never read something so good.
I just finished The remnant chronicles.
The kiss of deception, The heart of betrayel, and the beauty of darkness by mary e pearson. YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES!! I couldnt put it down! I just needed to share that with this young adult book loving community!

Eragon is a classic as I've been told. I hope you like it. I still need to read the series myself. Would not recommend the movie. lol

I love your enthusiasm! I'll make sure to check out those books. If you're interested in new authors, I'd also check out Lesley Penelope. Read her first book a few months ago and loved it. High fantasy.
